In fact I left around 10pm and went for a drive to check things out... We had relatively normal traffic 😂. Yeah some lights were out, and there was a few puddles , and A LOT A LOT of twigs and limbs all over the road but that's about it... Just a boring afternoon/ evening. Tomorrow, life goes back to normal. I wonder what the panicers are gonna do with all that water and toilet paper... Pile it in their garage? 🙄. I've been through nearly EVERY hurricane since Andrew in the early 90s. You learn what's a real threat, and what's not. Up north, I hope they left the area... A direct hit from a CAT4 is NO JOKE. but down here in Tampa? People need to relax.

I hope you appreciate what is coming your way. Hurricanes don't stop when they hit land. This one is tracking to still be a category 1 just south of Atlanta. There is a very good chance you will lose power. And it could be out for hours to weeks. So yeah, it's not ridiculous that people are gathering supplies. Most people would say not prepping for this would be ridiculous.
