You’re definitely a gifted storyteller, Ryan. I’m in Texas, but my parents grew up in Middle & Southeast Tennessee. This is a story of tragedy AND hope that needs to be kept alive. Thank you

Thank you for finally bringing light to what happened here in Tennessee. No one seemed to notice the suffering, devastation right in our own backyard 😢 Thanks for taking the time to show all this.

Me and my wife live in the camper on AJ Willis Rd. please point your camera at what was peoples homes otherwise no one understands the severity and impact of the destruction. Teddy is my neighbor. He and his wife and family had a beautiful home they are good people like just about everyone here in the area. Our house was just behind were the camper sets. We are 500 ft from the river. The water was 12-14 ft deep at our home. We have been here 32 years this March. Thank you for covering our area and the surrounding areas to tell the story of what happened here also.

I didn’t know Tennessee had been hit this hard. So sad to see the people who lost all. No doubt there were others that lost loved ones in this horrible tragedy. God bless you for showing that there are so many more who need help.

There are probably a lot more areas that haven’t had any news coverage. You are doing an amazing job telling these peoples stories. Keep up the great work. You are a kind and truthful person. The world needs more like you. The devastation is so far and wide it’s hard to even imagine a storm this horrible. I also live in East TN but was about 30 miles away from the hard impact of the river areas. We had rain and flooding with several trees down but nothing like the towns that are near the river. God may be showing you these towns so you can cover them. Follow the river and see where it leads you. Thank you.

I am a former "dog walker" and I noticed that while walking dogs, people are more likely to stop and talk to you compared to if you were walking alone. 🙂 Moon is such a beautiful girl!! It's wonderful that you are documenting the destruction of Helene. Years from now, people can look back and see what devastation hit the small rural areas along the many rivers that wind through the Blue Ridge and Appalachia. Love your videos! I've been a sub for a good while - I've seen you grow with your videos - in editing, music, etc. You do a great job!

On Christmas day I drove into Bumpus cove community. Got to talk with a guy who lives in house up on side of hill. He told me that the river was up around 45 feet whet flood waters came rushing by his place. Water almost got 8nto basement of his house which was easily built about 25 feet up on hill side off Bumpus cove road.

You and Jenn are two of the most empathetic people, I can feel it [ if that makes sense since I don't know the both of you personally] and God is with you both. I believe He uses tragedies to bring people and communities together and to help us to love one another. You and Jenn are shining examples of all of that. God bless you. Sending love and prayers from Tx.

Ryan I found your channel while desperate to find information about my state. I have to tell you, I've watched you and cried and cried, and appreciated your heart and your efforts. This video, I'm just thinking what a great narrator your are, what a great storyteller you are. Your voice is kind, I think a reflection of your inner spirit. I appreciate you and hope you are managing the heartache you encounter. And you may have 20K subscribers, but trust me, that number will grow. Thank you for keeping these folks' story out there for everyone to see. Our states have been forgotten, but for the folks like you that keep hope alive. Thank you.

@8MyOpinionIs817 сағат бұрын
In the immediate area of this video there are 2 still missing. Nancy Tucker from Tittle Circle area (above the collapsed bridge) and Steve Cloyd from Charlie Carson Rd (below the collapsed bridge). I am a local, grew up here and learned to drive on AJ Willis and Bumpus Cove Rd. My best friend and her family lost their homes in Embreeville on Bumpus Cove Rd. There truly are no words.
