Sur real to live here in Port Charlotte and see destruction because we had no power for a week and no cell phone use and no running water. But now it's all back on. I still love Port Charlotte and it will be great again

🏳️‍🌈📱🌧️🌬️🌀 Thanks for sharing this on your KZbin channel & on at 15:56 - 15:58 you driving by my old street on Easy Street close to Martin Dr NE while Hurricane Ian coming if you didn't know on your left turn. Last time I seen my childhood home & neighborhood back in August 13th & 14th 2004 after Hurricane Charley. That's why I was very concerned about in Port Charlotte area ok. Thankfully you did avoid the storm & doesn't matter you driving red light while the storm is getting bad. 🌀🌬️🌧️📱🏳️‍🌈

Thank you for posting this. It was interesting following your route; my house is off of 776 near the Myakka River in the "red" zone. So I evacuated to the east coast and missed actually seeing the storm itself, only the aftermath. So it was pretty riveting seeing places I know well in the middle of the storm.

I’m amazed someone decided to drive in this. Not too bright. I have a house rental for two months starting January. I actually had someone drive by the house and about a week or so after the storm got the owner on the phone. The only issues besides power and cable were some roof tiles torn off and a wooden fence all around the backyard got destroyed. No flooding etc. even the lanai got boarded up. I figure by the infrastructure and clean up should be pretty well back to normal in three months. I had a back up for those dates about 200 miles north that was a good deal but in a different climate zone. I enjoyed the stay in PC that last two years so I am surprised that I can go back again after this awful storm. The owner lives in North Port and his house did get some water (how much I did not ask). I was very very surprised so little damage was done to the house, especially when he told me two or three houses on the same street were badly damaged. I heard a lot of tornadoes spun off

We just met on Whitney's channel. I FF through first ten minutes I have so much anxiety watching you drive. The only one on the road. Do you have no fear? I pushed first video. Maybe your entire channel is chasing storms. This is amazing to see but frightening at the same time. Please stay safe. ✌🏻🤗💕🇺🇸 🇺🇸

Driving around in a hurricane, at least you shouldn't have to worry about getting any traffic violations, stop lights aren't working, just keep going. Today would be a good day for a motorcycle ride. Pull into the shopping center, do a little shopping. A raincoat & umbrella would come in handy today, maybe you'll get lucky and catch a sale! What do you know, working stop lights. Why are you stopping, no cops around, ain't no one else around, go on. Another shopping center, ain't nobody here. There's a McDonalds, I could dig a Big Mac value meal.
