I live in South Venice just a stones throw from Englewood...... I was surprised at the wind from idalia. We Took a beating from Ian last year. Hope you didn't get that driving rain up into your open sofets

Just rode Idalia up here in Newberry, FL in the Big Bend. Wind was gnarly. Hope you and the fam are well my man and progress will be made on recovery.

That's crazy that the insurance companies haven't taken care of folks. They need to follow through with their end of the deal. If good, honest people like you and your family pay their premiums, the insurance companies need to do their part. Hope things go well for you all and the storm dies down. Stay safe!

I can't imagine experience anything like this. We have been recently hit by a storm called Hans in Norway that brought a lot of misery from landslides and flooded rivers but nothing close to a destructive force of a hurricane. All the best wishes to you and your family.
