I didn't realize you lived in the area, I knew you moved down to Florida a few months before I left Virginia, but I thought you were in the Northern Panhandle area. I'm about 3 hours north of you, a bit north of Tampa. When we all went to bed that night, we thought the greater Tampa Bay area would be hit hard. Then Ian changed its mind and headed directly to you. Good to see you are doing as well as can be expected from such an event. I'm so sorry for your loss. my mom's side of the family survived Armenia's spitak earthquake, so I have some understanding of the trauma and tragedy natural disasters cause. natural disasters have a very serious and lasting impact in a way most people don't realize. sending you lots of love and healing.

Sorry for your loss Ms. Fasulo, I hope things are progressing back towards normality. Merry Christmas! If you haven’t already it might be worth sharing some of your experiences? What to do or not to do in the insurance paperwork and/or rebuild process. That isn’t very freelance specific, so maybe how you have handled things with clients, employees, and so forth while you juggled the aftermath of the storm? Thanks for all you do and have shared. Such a shame. Glad you and family are safe. Matlacha Island was so unique and beautiful. Visited a couple of times and loved the community, the way people did up their walks with seashells and themes like pirate ships etc. It felt like old Florida meets arts commune in vibe. Great restaurants too. I hope they decide to rebuild. I heard some places like trailer parks were being demolished and residents told to leave. Glad your property is going to be rebuilt.

Going through many hurricanes in my life, each one always impacts you differently. Hurricane Harvey destroyed our area, so I know what you are going through. Hang in there, and keep your head up! Thank goodness for house insurance! Something so many don't get. Thankfully in Sout East Texas it is required for any home loan.

I heard you say once in a video that you were from that area.. I am actually here in Fort Myers it was rough that is for sure. We stayed home and luckily just the first floor of my house got flooded but I can tell you it was still a nightmare. My wife was 8 months pregnant at the time and I found out only a few days after that the pressure could have induced labor. I can't imagine how you are feeling considering the circumstances and I'm very happy to hear that you are pulling through and making moves. Nothing but positive vibes and energy sent over to your family from mine. I will 100% be picking up your book and to be honest I wouldn't own a home if it wasn't for you in the first place. Your fiverr tips changed my life and I can't thank you enough. With that said Thanks for always informing even though you don't have to in the first place. I lived throught Hurricane Ike in Houston 2006. I lived on the 25th floor with a wall of windows/glass to a terrace. I spent 9 hours in my closet thinking I was going to die. That wind is something you can never imagine, especially growing up in the North East. My heart goes out to you and your friends and family. It's horrific. Even listening to you talk is triggering to that kind of terror. All my prayers to you.
