Hurricane Harvey is much worse than Irma except for those on the islands. But of course they are not declaring a "humanitarian crisis" on the islands. Nah. sure there is flooding in S. florida like the keys. I have seen so much footage of people complaining tree branches are in their yard. instead of being grateful that was all they had to deal with, they complain. Look at what Irma did to the islands. Uninhabitable. Florida will be up and running in no time.

The path in this video needs to be changed. Hurricane Irma made landfall on Marco Island in S.W. Florida and ran up to state (inland) directly over Fort Myers then east of Tampa and up the state. Irma was still a Category 3 across S.W. Florida and then weakened to a category 2 just north of Fort Myers. Irma was a category 1 just east of Tampa eventually weakening to a Tropical Storm across northern Florida. The highest wind speed was 142 mph at the Naples Airport. I recorded sustained winds of 91 mph with gusts over 100 mph at my home about 15 miles southeast of Fort Myers. The neighborhood was a disaster area after the hurricane. Trees were down everywhere and the streets were flooded. It was scary.
@henryhawkins11944 жыл бұрын
Thanks for clarifying the facts. I also live in Fort Myers. We also need to let people understand that it took well over a year for all of the debris to be removed from our area.

Jeremiah 30:23-24 KJV Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. 2 Peter 3:9-10 KJV The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
