Hurricane Harvey is much worse than Irma except for those on the islands. But of course they are not declaring a "humanitarian crisis" on the islands. Nah. sure there is flooding in S. florida like the keys. I have seen so much footage of people complaining tree branches are in their yard. instead of being grateful that was all they had to deal with, they complain. Look at what Irma did to the islands. Uninhabitable. Florida will be up and running in no time.

unikitty Msp yes Irma was deadly for the islands. NOT florida. and no one said its a competition Kate. Florida lives right on the ocean and has hurricane season every year. these people in florida act shocked a hurricane came. All who move there know full well the risks. any damage in florida will be easily repaired. but the people on the islands dont get the same relief fund as florida does. and some of the islands are american. it is disgusting to see how the rich take care of the rich only.

Al Gore flies all over the world in his private jets, drives his large SUVs and operates several mansions, yet no one calls him on his double standards. TheFew TheProud --- actually god is the biggest hoax ever.... what isn't a hoax is man made global warming. simple fact, earth should be going though a global cooling, but it's not. it's warming, variable that has changed, is mans impact. it's pretty much that simple. pity the people who deny it are the ones who know the least about the topic.

The path in this video needs to be changed. Hurricane Irma made landfall on Marco Island in S.W. Florida and ran up to state (inland) directly over Fort Myers then east of Tampa and up the state. Irma was still a Category 3 across S.W. Florida and then weakened to a category 2 just north of Fort Myers. Irma was a category 1 just east of Tampa eventually weakening to a Tropical Storm across northern Florida. The highest wind speed was 142 mph at the Naples Airport. I recorded sustained winds of 91 mph with gusts over 100 mph at my home about 15 miles southeast of Fort Myers. The neighborhood was a disaster area after the hurricane. Trees were down everywhere and the streets were flooded. It was scary.

It's prophecy 4000yrs ago. Jeremiah 25:32 KJV Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. Jeremiah 30:23-24 KJV Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. [24] The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, until he have done it , and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.

2 Peter 3:9-10 KJV The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. [10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

I'm watching this now because of the other hurricane. I was only in 6th grade then so I didn't take it very seriously. Well umm ya. Florida is known to have hurricanes every year. Tropical storms. Folks don't forget about S. Texas!! They got it much worse with Harvey. Oh and Irma hit the islands and that was devasting.

no one said its a competition.

Well we really haven't seen a major hurricane hit Florida since the mid-2000's. Major hurricanes just like F4/F5 tornadoes aren't all that common.

Irma did not hit Key West. It hit Big Pine Key. Key west had minimum damage.

Lets see if they rebuild out of paperbag and wood again like every year or maybe learn something and rebuild out of solid or concrete stone.
