And the stuff about Florida and gas lines is the most Florida shyt ever. We have windstorms, and the power goes out for days. And everyone goes in orderly lines, fills their vehicle and gas cans.

We’re in Safety Harbor now but we lived in St. Pete around 5th Ave N and 49th and while visiting our old neighbors, we were blown away at the water and wind damage. So much down there was unrecognizable! Glad Apollo and friends are okay!

St. Pete already threw in the towel after the storm finished. No pickups as they used to. Only if you schedule and pay by volume. Dump is free to take debris to yourself however. But still... A lot will ne left curbside for a very, very long time.

How to siphon gas without doing a suckie, if anyone wants to know: 1- Put the entire tube in the tank, or as far as possible. 2- Put your thumb on one end of the tube and with thumb in place remove that end and most of the tube from the tank full of gas. The tube should be full of gas. 3- Position end with thumb below tank and within destination container. 4- Remove thumb. Gas will now exit the tube, initiating the syphon process.

People talk about power banks... batteries... I tell them from experience, "you gotta have a generator, the bigger the better". I have two, a big one and a small one. Here in TX we get to freeze for a week every couple of years... now I have a 100gal propane tank and a generator that runs on it.... also propane space heater, 25kBTU. Chainsaw? Electric! They work great, one point of fuel failure only.
