I think they seem to know when I am getting anything dairy out of the fridge ( I’m lactose intolerant but my spouse isn’t & he loves cheeses) so life is constantly putting the brakes on stealing from assorted dinner plates.

My quaker parrot Bruno is crazy about cheese and butter, I have to be careful when preparing food for myself because he is able to grab entire bread slice with stuff on it and fly away with it. He also loves lyophilized fruit and veggies as a snack, but honestly he is slightly weird, he loves vegetables way more than his food and usually it is all the way around with parrots.

There is an African Grey in Kallethea,Athens, Greece in a Pet supermarket. I wanted to buy him sooooooo badly! I had recently finished Alex and Me by Irene M Pepperberg and I felt so sorry for the alert, little bird alone in a little cage. I also saw an African grey in a smaller, dirtier cage in Chios. The owner SAID he lives in a bigger cage in her house. I hope so. He didn't look even remotely stimulated. People should not be able to buy these without an interview to prove they know what they are getting into.

top tier memes, I'd rate this video S-tier (SSS tier for the birbs of course.) also, spicy bird food is typically made to deter other animals from eating it and would help if you have other types of pets that wouldn't like it. spicy wild bird seed usually discourages squirrels and other mammals from stealing it, we had chipmunks who would still eat it though lol. and I think the "lion" is an artichoke

Tiny amounts of cheese and yogurt are both generally okay treats for lactose intolerant animals (and people), because the bacterial cultures essentially pre-digest the lactose so it's easier to manage. Also, loving the editing in this video :p

This is actually SOOOO helpful!! I have a picky rescued 36yr old Grey 9who knows what he spent most of his life on) and a somewhat picky Conure. The Conure's breeder pretty much only fed seed/nut mix and fresh fruit, so it's been VERY difficult to get them to eat anything decent!

God i made the mistake of giving my grey Zupreem and it gave her a crop infection from the high sugars not digesting, and rotting in her crop. It sounds like it hasn't changed at all. Gross. A few years ago I had a live stream for my budgies and i decided to try millet. Now, millet is a common grain for humans in some parts of the world, so i knew it would be at least all right, but it was REALLY good and all i did was boil it until soft. Tori's giggle fit after Dalton chomped into the seed stick like a corn dog is probably the most first time I've seen her not be deadpan. "i have not met a bird that doesn't like (Nutraberries)" my grey has never liked them

It really emphasizes the first four letters in the second word in "modern culture". The domestication of humans has resulted in so much out-of-touchness with nature, and with humans "solving problems", by sticking scratch-n-sniff talking Scooby Doo band-aids on anything that seems scary or uncomfortable. So many humans have prided themselves on "identifying" with the concept of "intelligence" - and then proceed to throw metaphorical feces at symptoms, and ignore and avoid what is causing the symptoms. Such as, humans eat highly toxic poison, and drink highly contaminated water - then look for artificial "solutions" to mitigate the perception and awareness of uncomfortable health issues. Rather than ceasing to consume poison, they look for MORE, "new" poison to consume - so to mitigate the uncomfortable/unpleasant feelings from the "old" poison that they continue consuming (and that they have perhaps convinced themselves is food/nourishment/"healthy"/"normal"/"what humans do").

For the past 2 years it’s been Harrison’s which nutritionally is the best we’ve seen commonly available. Intune is really good as well especially for converting since it has the bright colors (naturally dyed) and some sugar, but not such an insane amount like Zupreem. We were honestly shocked by how sweet the Zupreem were, that may be good as a short term first step for pellet conversion, but not a long term diet base. Not to mention the red 40…

❤I am extremely jealous, you have such a huge selection of foods & snacks. I have to order by mail to get some of those varieties. My guys like Harrison’s fine but even my 2 greys (16 yrs & 40yrs)are not fond of the Harrison’s spicy but do like the regular fine. Mine also love chop with Harrison’s or something like Birdie Bistro cooked with pellets. I also have an older eclectus, so dyes in the food is a no. Have you tried the nutriberries in tropical, strawberry, or pumpkin spice? (I spoke too soon you just tried the tropical)
