And if there is a persistent starting problem, check any rubber o'rings. Cracks in the o'rings can affect the pressure and cause a lot of frustration. If you don't have extra o'rings around, you might be able to get by with some grease on the rings to help seal it.

A tip on connecting and starting a propane generator. Connect the hose to the propane tank first. Barely open the tank valve purging all air out of the line. Whhile the valve is Barely open connect the hose to the generator. Open the valve completely after connection is made. Pull the starter cord a couple of times. Let the generator set a minute or so and try to start a couple of times again. Repeat , letting the generator set a minute before trying again.

If you are using a cassette style extension lead (the ones where the cable lives inside a plastic case), make sure that you fully unwind it, a fire risk if not unwound. Also watching videos on the hurricane Helene aftermath, fuel and propane were in very short supply. Stay safe Florida 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I love my solar the only reason for the propane is in case too cloudy for solar and can charge in 1 hour what it takes my panels to charge in 3.. so every tool has its uses. here I can't stand being without ac 24/7 so backup to my backup lol. nice call on stop sign chick

They say curb the amount of times you open the fridge if power goes out. Mine went out for 8 hours once and didn't hurt a thing inside. Meat still good, I didn't get sick. Not even any dripping defrost water.

Freeze big containers of water to keep in the Fridge. Keep the cold cool, and is good water to drink as it slowly melts.

People forget they are designed to trap cols air for efficiency I've seen them stay cool for days and ice cubes stay frozen for 2 days

@robcole332 nah.. were not near any possible flood water.. concrete block home.. I boarded up the windows and we got generators and solar.. as long as a tree don't come down on the house we will be ok.. I'll loose a lot of stuff but money I can make
