Overhand loop knot
@outboardfinatic4 сағат бұрын
Best knot for synching down banding when doing setup before shrinkwrapping a boat. That’s the knot I use every time. If you leave a tag end past the loop and run it through the cleats and then back through the loop and synch it down and tie half hitches to secure it. Super strong super affective

Why take the spark plug out to change the blade or take it off
@MunkyWrench14 сағат бұрын
@parisparaskevaidis2051 safety reasons.. a big problem when u leave it in.. when the mower is up people that don't use an impact wrench to remove the blade use a regular wrench or ratchet and the blade will often turn the motor.. it CAN start the mower .. some machines run so well that it doesn't take much to start them and people loose hands or arms.. it's not common but it has happened so it's just a good habit to get into when your face to face with the blade of a meat grinder

@@MunkyWrench- Looks like a 5-7CF mini-fridge? Probably takes 3-5Amps at 120VAC to start, and 0.6-1.0Amps running. A major factor that many don't account for is the idle current consumption of the inverter! It is consuming 7-50 Watts just being on with no load. The smaller (500 & 800W) Victron inverters have a very low power standby mode. This feature is only compatible with mechanical thermostats, but many mini-fridges have those anyway.
@MunkyWrench15 сағат бұрын

How tight do you tighten the variable speed pulley bolt and does the bolt spin with the pulley ?
@MunkyWrench3 күн бұрын
@MarkTaennis the bolt does nor spin with the pulley.. the pulley has a bearing it spins on. I just tighten by feel with a reg length ratchet.. no extra leverage so bolt doesn't sheer off.. you would have to look online for torque specs. In my experience of 30 years I never used a torque wrench. Ever.. not even on motor rebuilds and never had an issue so that should tell you how important torque specs are. But that's just my opinion and I'm hardly ever right lol.. hope this helps. Thanks for subscribing and helping me grow. I'm always here if u have more questions
@MarkTaennis3 күн бұрын
Great big help, bolt keeps coming loose, think I need a new pulley if lock tight doesn't work?
@MarkTaennis3 күн бұрын
I just watched your video again and I think the bearings fell out when the bolt worked it's way out. Does that sound right?
@MunkyWrench3 күн бұрын
@@MarkTaennis yes this particular pulley is not an enclosed self contained race bearing.. it is ball bearings in a channel built in. Thats why I just got a used replacement part instead of trying to repack bearings in a damaged channel. that is a common problem with these drive pulleys. i doubt the bolt worked its way out but its possible.. usually the ball bearings get worn down to a smaller diameter until they can fall out the crack.. if that makes sense
@MunkyWrench3 күн бұрын
@@MarkTaennis if the bolt keeps coming out the question is can you tighten it.. in other words when your ratcheting it in does it get tight and stop turning or will it just keep spinning with enough pressure from your wrench.. if it spins with pressure from the wrench it means the threads are shot and lock titie won't help.. you would have to drill and tap new threads.. or if theres room drill out the hole and use a nut and lock washer to sandwich it together.. if it does in fact tighten then yes lock tite will do the trick .. remember to let it cure according to the directions before using it

@MunkyWrench4 күн бұрын
@beegekhaos3171 the grass doesn't start growing here in Florida until June.. and it quits growing by Halloween.. at least for the last 5 years. So mowers sit for 6 months . Most people use them every 6 to 8 weeks to tidy up but mostly they sit. So every year by may I get tons of people that can't get them stsrted.. they bring to me to clean carb.. and lots get thrown away

@MunkyWrench5 күн бұрын
The cells on the panel are wired together but if one goes bad the power works it's way around. U can lose small amounts as they go bad.. but panels are rated for 25 years life. Unless a tree branch falls on it your get a long long time.. and used panels are always cheaper
