As you knew, only Long Beach residents were allowed into Long Beach. That was the reason for the blockade. I'm not sure how you got past the National Guard- but why did you ? .The National Guard was in Long Beach to protect Long Beach residents. Our tragedy was your photo op . I found-and find it disturbing that anyone (other than the actual media ) entered Long Beach to photograph our devastation. I saw people gawking at my home, & block while I was inside, with no power, heat, running water, no phone or internet ,no means of communicating that I was trapped-no means of escape due to drowned cars- and those people were taking photos of our tragedy. . Sandy did take everything, from many residents of Long Beach and other Sandy victims. Did you bring bottled water, blankets, or other desperately needed supplies ? We had plenty of photographers in Long Beach to document. Sandy. included Christina-TIsi-Kremer.I disagree with that resident I felt exploited.
