how do you dislike this... i mean, what is there to dislike? These guys deserve a holiday in their honor for being incredibly fucking awesome and documenting something so historical. Here on the west coast hardly any of us had a clue as to the level of severity regarding Sandy and its impact on downtown manhattan. This disaster is shocking to say the least. However, I'm so happy that this video was made and so thankful for these guys - you all should be too. Bicycles ftw!

i was a bit too young to fully understand how bad this storm was. i think i was in fourth grade which ages me, but i do remember my uncle in nyc struggling after his car was totaled and his buisness had substantial damage.

Excellent Video. I liked it. It really shows an overflow level of water, plus with the risk you guys took. Anything can happen. Electrocution, illness, accidents, tension. It is always easy with a camera, but still, the bravery and humor to do it is kind of hard to find. Thanks man. Great Job.

I was out on my bike filming during the Hurricane Sandy and was attacked by several officers from the NYPD. They almost killed me that night.

If you read my story, and google incidents on how police abuse their power then you would change your perspective. Just because you may not have been a victim or oblivious to these incidents does not mean they don't exist. Be cautious on how police views people with cameras, and learn from my experience.

As a bicyclist, I just want to thank you for perpetuating the stereotypes most people have of us as being thrill-seeking reckless morons. This is right up there with 'bicycling during a blizzard' that I personally observed, where the guy tried riding his bike in two feet of snow. (it didn't work). I can now add you to the really dumb things I see bicyclists do that give all of us a bad name. Good job.

That is incredibly errie! Especially after the lights went out. I pray for you all, They didnt show any footage like this on the television, and I wonder why no filming was to be done? Very messed up. You're very brave to be on the street to capture this footage for us. Hope the best for you all.
