This is only the beginning and it is very certain that it will get worse quickly. People make demands, but people themselves don't even notice how the demands become a problem for further demands of their own. People do not realize how one demand becomes a problem for the next. People like to say that they want to run up and down the stairs at the same time or at the same moment. People are connected to contradictions, and people don't pay enough attention to that. The claims are often linked to old views and people do not see how they have adopted the way of checking those views. Many people find it difficult to question their own testing method or to test it better.

That's just awful to see so much damage and you're right, it's going to take everybody pulling together and helping one another and I pray and hope all those people can get their homes fixed back. It's going to take some time to get everything straightened up and back in order but everyone needs to do what they can to make it work. If I was able to and had a way to travel, I would help out with whatever I could do to help out there. I always believed in helping people and still do around here when someone hollers at me. But I hope everybody gets lined back out soon.

Looking at what you are showing, it looks like one of the main tasks is clearing the roads? Have a think about the most efficient way to clear them? A trailer to tack away the larger logs? Some sort of mobile chipper and drop body to move the chips? All of which you could take to your recycle facility?

Stevens Creek Rd is unrecognizable. From what I’ve seen West Lake and Summerville were some of the hardest hit areas in Augusta. Walton Way will never be the same.

I drove on Ingleside dr Saturday after the storm. We couldn't get all the way through but we're able to turn around at the rotary. We drove over power lines, barely under low power lines and even under a tree that fell across the road.

My wife and I drive over the road and we passed through your area on I-20 this morning heading to a delivery down here in Charleston.. I could not believe the amount of trees down for a good 100 miles through Georgia and up to SC. I was in disbelief just how many miles of destruction there was.

Reminds me of what it looked like here in Iowa in 2020. We got hit with a derecho with 140 mph winds. It took everyone helping everyone and years to clean up. There are still areas that haven’t been touched since. Prayers to everyone.

Pines trees mostly if I am not wrong lots of yellow pollen too. Lots of firewood for sure. This was not in the news at all only North West North Carolina. Found memories of my 4 years in Atlanta covering all the traditionnal South East States or in our office jargon SEUSA.

Reminded me of when UK had it's biggest storm for 100 yrs way back in '86, I had to drive from Basingstoke to Croydon a trip that normally took 50 mins, took me 3 1/2 hrs with numerous diversions for downed trees and wires all over the place. That was the night when Sevenoaks lost most of its famous 7 Oaks and so many of the different forests on the way lost 75% of their trees in just that storm. Talk about nightmare, there is nothing as powerful as Mother Nature. If she decides on a route get out of her way - she's going regardless of what you think. Thanks Ryan, we here in UK, don't hear about what goes on over there, mind you I've heard that some places in N Carolina are still trapped, because people can't get in or out, because of the devastation around them, they're flying food and water to them via helicopters. Just doesn't bear thinking about.

Prayers for all impacted. We.are.out 20 almost.to Alabama line. The first.thing we did 25 years ago when we built our homd.was to clear out every pine within 150/feet of the homesite. Pines are the worst in storms for sure. Looks like 95% of the trees down in your area are.pines. We sold all our logs back then and made some good money. If I remember correctly, we.were getting $100 bucks a cord for logs 12'6" and larger and at.least 8" on the small end.

And if it was me or if I had a truck and a piece of equipment there's a lot of good wood hardwood that could be sold to sawmills that there's a lot of it laying in people's yard that you could go up there and not charge them but still make a couple dollars by clearing their tree

That is insane. People can't comprehend what it takes to break a 24-inch pine 15 ft off the ground. Could walk your mulcher and a backhoe down there for the next month. So sad. That really is hard to watch.

THATS JUST TERRIBLE. Here in the Clearwater area most of the damage is a combo of downed trees and flooded homes. Your tree damage is worse than heere but some areas here got destroyed.

Is possible to set up one of ur shredders or chippers in locations closer to these neighborhoods so u can get thru the tree waste faster without having to transport bulk trees, mulch is easier to move. Possibly reach out to rotochopper for some help?

FEMA paid for the clean up and grinding of the Storm Damage in Cedar Rapids Ia in 2020. Get with your city Forestry Department and get signed up for FEMA funds for grinding.

I always look for positives instead of negatives. This looks bad until you watch the videos coming out of Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia. After you watch those, the only you could say is in glad that was not us. Trees grow back, houses get rebuilt. Mountains, communities, roads, and a thousand plus people, are just gone forever. All i can say is, count your blessings

That looks like the "not a hurricane" which hit south east England in 1986 - 7 million trees down kept my business busy cutting them for 18 months & even now, almost 40 years later, the landscape still hasn't fully recovered. My thoughts are with all of you who've suffered during this disaster.
