@satiriconexpulsado65385 жыл бұрын
this match consisted more in the lack of defense, because the forwards were good on both sides! the weakest defense was that of the rebels! Anyway, being an open match, try against try, it was fun!

Why is it so difficult to beat a new zealand team....The crusader will take the super rugby cup again....BACK TO BACK
@satiriconexpulsado65385 жыл бұрын
because foreigners who play against a team in NZ, are not smart enough? the kiwis are frustrated by a closed defense and the slow ball! the question would be: do you want to beat them with a typical kiwi game, or own?
@cassiuscompton26465 жыл бұрын
And that’s the reason why Laumape will never get start & if lucky get picked for the All Blacks this season, his defence was shocking tonight & the difference between Fifita vs Savea his massive & I had high hopes for fifita
@2nightsoff2785 жыл бұрын
Laumape is there for his attack not defence. Every player has strenght and weaknesses, the coaches keep that in mind than balance out the risk and reward come selection time.

I'm sure the marketing gurus at NZ rugby know exactly what they're doing but some days I think their sole focus is to simply wind me up. Grant Nisbett's commentary has long been a bug-bear of mine (he has no analytical input, he just states the flaming obvious for 80 minutes (once you see it you can't unsee it)). But add into the mix female commentators, religious experiences by the players after every try they score (do they look upward when the opposition score, I wonder?), injury stoppages at just about every set-piece and every NZ stadium at every game bellowing the same 1980's mixed-tape recording of classic hits such as Poi-E and Slice of Heaven, and I have to come to the conclusion that I'm simply becoming a cantankerous old fart.

Lovely comment, couldn't agree more. Especially about Nisbett, stoppages, and the atmosphere at the park

@@FlatSpinMan My apologies Sir/Madam. I meant to cause no offence with my comments and I certainly regret forcing you to respond with such vulgarity. I must say it has come as quite a shock to me to learn, by way of your well-thought out arguments, that I have been a terrorist sympathizer all this time and that I'm on the same level on the totem pole of evolution as Jake 'the Muss' Heke. But does one ever truly know oneself? Rest assured that I shall present myself for re-education as soon as possible and if I've caused you to spit your coffee over your framed photo of Jacinda, I can only apologise for the trauma that must have caused.

@@phluphph9860 Not that this really will make any difference, but surely if a woman can be a doctor, a teacher, a scientist, an astronaut, one can learn enough about the laws of rugby and speaking into a microphone to a level sufficient to be a commentator? That's why I called you a fucken knob. I concede I didn't need to go the Taliban route but if you're so stupid as to think a woman can't call a sports game in 2019 then you're an idiot.
@phluphph98605 жыл бұрын
@@FlatSpinMan Once again I must wholeheartedly agree with you. I am indeed an idiot. For example, you wouldn't believe how many inane conversations I get involved with on the Internet. As to women being able to do anything they want, it's a message I try to impart to my daughters at every opportunity. And if Game of Thrones has taught us anything, it's that women can
even kill a Night King with enough training, a green screen, and a sufficient budget
. As to rugby commentary, I offer you this olive branch: how about we do a nationwide search for a man with the dulcet tones of Barack Obama or George Clooney. A sort of George Obama if you will, but with a Kiwi accent and the wit and insight of that legendary rugby player, Ian Smith. Then, on every game day George could self-identify as a woman. Surely we'd all be winners on the day?
