i m a notts county fan and too be fair you dominated the first half hour you looked strong tough first to the ball we came back into it and found our feet through the middle of the game you were always a threat to us and as it panned out forget todays game but we buried the hatchet of our defeat to you in the national league play off that you eventually got back into the leagueand you can tell you ve had those extra years in the league it was plain obvious where we ve come from to where you have been for the past four years good luck through your season

2 Grimsby goals from 2 county mistakes. Grimsby never looked like scoring. Should have been 4-0/5-0 county. Respect to Grimsby for bringing 3000. Noise in the stadium was class. Always a good game with Grimsby. Best of luck for the rest of the season. Youuu Piessss

These lads have only been with the club for a short time but because they are on decent contracts time wise by next season we should see a much better well organised unit.. some you win, some you lose.. even if we lose on Tuesday (though I feel it will be a draw) it wouldn’t be the end of the world.. Town should soon be a pretty solid unit..

Think County fans are being kind and if they had taken their chances the score line could have been embarrassing. Thought we offered little going forward with Vernam and Eisa providing no improvement on players we had in last season. Conteh though is exceptional and will no doubt be moving upwards within a year.

Such an away support deserves a result, worked the game and I must say I've not seen so many young children with parents at football and we are Premier League plus Grimsby supporters were still friendly in defeat so a credit to the club and town. NFFC.

As a Notts fan I’ve always respected Grimsby fans and their club. I thought your fans went very quiet today as if you knew you were going to lose? After 18 minutes I thought we were going to lose. Good game though. Good luck this season.
