It was a strange experience to hear him sing on Gabriel songs last year while reacting to him.... That didnt stop him from always criticizing something in Gabriel's vocals....autotune, lipsync, lack of emotion etc....He is a strange reactor, I thought he would have changed but.....No ...!!!

I guarantee you the audio quality in this video is NOT just from his camera audio and the music playing in the background. Yes, his singing will always be this great no matter what, but I can tell he used a mic, compression, and reverb at the very least and whether it's live or pre-recorded is the only question in my mind (yes, that means I believe he could've pre-recorded and lip-synced).

Não sei se ele consegue fazer 1% do que o Gabriel faz...!!!! Eu o ouvi no ano passado, ele estava cantarolando em um dos vídeos da Gabi e lamento dizer que era “impossível” de ouvir.... I too listened to him last year humming on a Gabriel song video and how can I say ??? It was strange especially coming from someone who criticizes a lot GH and explains to others how to sing .!!! So for sure when he hears an angel sing it must feel a bit strange .... And the reason I'm a bit harsh is that I'm really upset that he can't help criticizing Gabriel.

Whistle is much lighter, sometimes more airy like here, sometimes more squeaky like you'll hear in Mariah Carey's newer version of Oh Santa. But overall, whistle is a much lighter and tighter sound while Christina's attempts at such notes are still in head voice stretched paper thin and it doesn't even sound that great compared to true whistle because it's fuller, heavier, and can be a form of strain if one is not careful.

@@MadMusician Partially agree 👍🏻 but whistle is not the same with everyone.. Mariah’s whistle is more breathy compared to Ariana’s for example. Another example is Rachelle Ferrell! Her approach is completely different compared to Mariah! G#6 on Christina’s case is a complete whistle

Ok in an ideal world ....But lets talk facts have you seen his last GH reactions ??? I have seen them all and there was always something going wrong : " The accent , the lack of emotion, the mic, the lipsynk, the reverb, ....." You know at a point I consider that so many doubts can't be really constructive .... Those very doubts led Gabriel to record videos in his car . He did 4 videos , and I can tell you that he suffered a lot of those " doubters " a ... I gave this guy the benefit of the doubt , as he came back to react to GH again, but unfortunately he keeps repeating the same nonsense ( have a look at his replies...) So, personnally I have difficulty calling this " Opinion or Taste " . He has the right to dislike Gabriel but he shouls just stop reacting to him.Period.... So sorry I completely desagree with you .

Maybe not as much true emotion as Christina Aguilera, but he definitely committed to the emotional context, for sure. You can sense his commitment not just in his facial expressions (which still unfortunately includes a slight bit of an entertainment smile) but also in the way he sings this song. And I say unfortunately with an entertainment smile because with such a painfully sad and heartbreaking song, there's no room for such a move as that.
