This was so cute 😭 y’all are hilarious! Throughout the whole video I was thinking about how although I’m excited to prayerfully get married and go on my honeymoon and stuff, I’m still nervous about letting someone see and get to know the whole me, “naked and unashamed.” But lately God has been showing me a different side of Himself, and it’s honestly been a little uncomfortable, letting go of the misconceptions I’d grown so accustomed to and me thinking of Him as this harsh, far away, understanding but only to an extent God. But then I realized that this uneasy feeling of unlearning and re-learning is exactly what I’ll experience in marriage, I’m already practicing vulnerability in my marriage to Christ. Trying to feel out His wants and needs, how He sees me, being completely open and honest with Him about all my quirks and failures, yet He still loves me. Our perfect Husband! I love this!!! I always believed that it is better to wait because marriage has the excitement of learning the other person during the commitment. If you just get married and you have already been doing married things, you basically don’t feel the same excitement and some don’t see the need for the change. Absolutely love this channel

Thanks for sharing, fun 🎉 Just my advice to Hubby, you need to make more eye contact with your wife, look at her more. Even on the honeymoon pics, it will be more obvious that you SEE her and are not just focused on taking the pics. Know can sound crazy but I pay crazy attention to ridiculous minute details but that pay off sometimes. All u can do is try and if doesn't add anything, u can stop😊

I'm adamant about waiting for a man after God's heart. An Ephesians 5:25-27 man who will wait in purity with me until our wedding night. I've never been in a godly relationship but it's so exciting to see that it's possible. I'll wait as long as God wills because I refuse to compromise. I appreciate you telling your experience. I have a question. Do you think that if a person is over 40 should they wait until marriage? Typically these talks are geared toward teens and people in their 20s. Is it practical to wait way after 39 years old ?

Hey Stephanie! I definitely think if you have a conviction to wait from God then YES! Will you wait longer, yes, but how much sweeter the reward! I personally have friends in their 40's who are currently waiting on the Lord and have heard beautiful testimonies of many women who waited even if they didn't marry until their 50's or 60's. God is able to keep you! Hope this helps.

At times, I think what is the point since I am in my 40s and I have felt odd telling those that I date about waiting. It was cool when I was in my 20s and early 30s but now that I am older it is becoming a challenge to uphold and believe that it is possible for a person to love me with that believe of waiting until marriage.

That's a little intrusive don't ya think? Maybe they don't want to share everything about their honeymoon which is their right to do so. Some experiences/memories are special to you that you don't want to necessarily share with the world. There are other couples on You Tube that go into details about their experience and what to expect. You should search them out. Victoria Flash shares her honeymoon experience in a lot of details on You Tube. The Troups also go into details regarding their experience waiting until marriage as well as a few others. Kay Coles James wrote a book entitled What I wish I'd known before I got Married. His Needs and Her Needs by Willard F. Harley Jr is also a good book providing details.
