Me 2! God works in mysterious ways, no doubt about it, and eventually we are all going to go, but going like this, is a shock, a trauma for the ones left behind, especially this kind lady. She needs to know that she did what she could and that her instincts were very assertive. The fact that she thought to protect the little girl and to comfort this poor woman, in a moment of panic, speaks volumes of her kind, generous and loving heart.... God bless y'all❣🙏❤

I can only hope I have the strength to do the same if I am ever placed in that situation in my life, or that someone has the compassion to do the same if they end up in a life or death position. I also hope the young child can go about life knowing how precious our time here is, and free of trauma.

Definitely survival guilt. But this flight didn’t have chosen seats. The other passenger took the seat on the aisle because of coffee. Most likely Jennifer saw the seat and was like it’s my lucky day a window seat open

So true. If she was conscious and not in complete shock, knowing she wasn't alone in whst she was going through likely meant so much. So tragic. I blame Southwest. This video, gave me a little hope for humanity. The respectful interviewer, the loving husband, the fellow lady passenger who tried to be of help and comfort. Not to mention, the caring mother/wife/community member who sadly lost her life. These are great examples of ppl being human. Every other difference (You know the ones I'm talking about. The ones that place labels on each other, and draws lines) gets put in perspective. Please remember, we are all human. Most of us want the same thing: to live a peaceful, healthy, productive life. We just have different ideas for how to go about attaining that.

Melissa Onorati It’s not the airlines fault, Please understand what happened with the aircraft before you post comments like this.
@melissaonorati34586 жыл бұрын
Julian Gutierrez well I have a right to my opinion just like you do and for your info it is the airline's fault because the engine manufacturer should have checked the engine to see if the plane was safe enough to fly without any tragic malfunction consequences

How about they simply REPLACE the fan blades once every 3 years, problem solved.
@rileyscott58276 жыл бұрын
That's really expensive. Especially considering how many planes are in use. Remember money doesn't grow on trees. Plus, they are supposed to be able to last a lot longer than that.
@mikenutter6 жыл бұрын
that engine should've still had another 10 years of service but do to unforeseen factors something failed long before it was predicted to by the manufacturer
@1arritechno6 жыл бұрын
There was an Industry wide recommendation ( should have been mandated ) to X-Ray the metal blades at a shorter maintenance interval , (the CFM engines are prone to early metal fatigue). Southwest have been slow to remove blades & inspect all of their turbofans - that is absolutely the cause.
@beekaGo5 жыл бұрын
Actually the replacement can also inflict possible malfunctions its inherent but requires minute details check ups.

Actually you get a row, not a seat. She was talking about how she chose the window seat then drank too much and didn’t want to bother all of the passengers so she sat on the outside.

Southwest doesn’t have assigned seats. You board in groups and you pick wherever you want to sit. You can move as long as the seat is unclaimed

I'm so glad this came up on my home page. I'd seen the report on the disaster and the interview with all the crew, but I felt kind of empty wondering what the family must've gone through and what Jennifer Riordan was like. Nice to know a little more about her and that her family is at least at peace with things as of the report.

I am so happy that the lady had compassionate passengers right next to her !!! The very sweet lady & the girl who tried so hard to prevent the victim from getting sucked out from the window !! The husband & his late wife knew that at least !!! I just came here from another channel where showed interviews of passengers of a greyhound bus which was the bus a horrific murder occurred on, a decade ago in Canada .Where nobody stopped the murderer from stabbing the victim to death !!! And more ...I don't wanna mention. Just beyond !!! My heart broke for the poor victim & his family !!! 💜🥁🐉🎤💞
