So many of us 'ladies' have gone through, same as you. My husband is similar to your Joe and we took the same stance, re presents and cards. My parents gave me the best present which didn't cost any money. From a young age I was introduced to children with disabilities, we entertained everybody in our home - whatever colour, culture and creed and enjoyed the differences as in food, music, religion etc... Memories cannot ever be taken from us.

Thank you! We stalled out about a year ago. Something happened- we are not sure what exactly. We did a post 10 months ago about being close. At the rate we were growing, it should have happened a week after that post. We looked at that last week and deleted the post since we are at about the same place now. I hope you are right. We are working on it and trying to figure it out, but I am not sure it works that way. That said, we love you guys and if it is just us forever, that is fine by us! @cherrelle99643 жыл бұрын
Some reasons why I love your videos is that they are so genuine. No click-bait. No silly trends. However I do think there is a bit of a stall all around when it comes to KZbin. Most creators also have a TikTok as well and if you go that route I will definitely follow. I would love to hear stories about how y’all met. Tips for dating/newlyweds etc. Or share any random knowledge about anything like shopping for a house. I’d like to know what do you do for entertainment when you’re blind? What about mental health? How does Bethany stay so positive? You guys can talk about rocks and it’ll still be interesting! Good luck! Love you guys!

Karen, You made a great point about photos and videos and it’s one that I’ve been saying to my grandmother over the years after her trying to stand off to the side or hide, “It’s ok to not be perfect! The most important part is the memories that these photos and videos bring throughout the generations.” She’s almost 86 now and seems to finally “get it”- imperfect hair, smile, and all. I do the same with cards and notes. I buy them intending to just bless someone out of the blue or show my appreciation but sometimes I chicken out or get too busy to send them. Life’s too short! I’m working on it! As someone whose love language is “words of affirmation”, I know just how important those notes are and how they can flip a day around. Love your content! Keep it up! 💗

Having uploaded some of my own videos on another channel, I understand the difficulties of commitment, anxiety, self doubt, pressure, thoughts of judgement etc. You have, however, CREATED a space for all of us regular viewers to come back to and be lifted, taught, inspired and so much more. Through your effort as a family, us viewers gain so much; every single upload marks a moment where, not only are you recording some of your familys history, you have captured, inspired and taught the minds and imaginations of many people. I can only hope to see many more of these, but of course... NO PRESSURE and godspeed!

Thank you for your lovely comments! That Stauffer deal darn near did us in! But as vicious as the attacks against us were, our channel grew like crazy during that time! Go figure...me being overly sensitive had to shut it down for my own sanity. I was very sad about that, because it is the one topic we are VERY familiar with. I wish people would try (as you did) to not take things that others share so personally. If we will listen to one another with an open mind, we could really learn some stuff! We need to begin to focus on things we have in common and not our differences. Maybe show a little compassion...as time goes by, our skin gets thicker. There is SO MUCH we would like to share! Let's hope we get to grow together! 😊❤❤❤

I love that you are going to do this! I love your channel and feel it's much more personal and family orientated than most of the other family channels; you share yourselves and your feelings and your home and the good times and the bad, and that makes you both very special. All channels have to change anyway as kids get older so it makes sense to change your content from time to time. I think sometimes that you make your lives look almost 'too easy', with a beautiful tidy home and such gorgeous polite and funny kids, and people on KZbin sometimes prefer to see chaos, crisis and struggle, maybe because they are feeling they are not doing a good job themselves and it makes them feel better. But I do realise that we only see the good bits and not your struggles sometimes to get there! I think it's important to you that things look fine and you push yourselves to achieve this and we all appreciate this in you. I suspect you are your own worse critic because I can bet we all think you are amazing, capable loving and have achieved so much already with your life. Thank you for sharing your feelings with us (I have unsent cards too, and some cards I am glad I NEVER sent !! You are a lovely family, and thank you for being you Karen, relax, we love and appreciate you.x

I wish more people would get into the habit of sending letters again. I had multiple pen pals throughout college that I'd actually met online, and we decided to exchange snail mail and little gifts back and forth - this was about eight to ten years ago. I feel you in terms of wanting to go in a slightly different direction on KZbin. I've been thinking about that in regards to my channel in a while. But I do definitely agree with you that the videos are a great way for the kids to be able to look back on their memories and how you and Joe met, and if you're comfortable sharing that, I think we'd all be interested in hearing it! You can even do a sort of video diary for them if you want about your past; it doesn't necessarily have to be uploaded.

Hi, I do the same thing, we looked after a friend's dog this weekend and of course I wanted to reassure them that she (the dog) was fine by taking pictures and videos I took loads but only sent a couple because mess in the background, pillows not being right, bits on the carpets, silly really o should maybe send them anyway and be brave, still not sure. In the UK we have a cement shortage, can't get it for love or money. My daughter hates taking pictures she doesn't like the flash and doesn't like hearing herself back on video either, when I take a picture of her even without the flash she closes her eyes or puts her hands up! School picture day we got a picture of her with her eyes closed, I ordered them anyway but didn't want to give them out to family we are the only people in the family with a special needs kid and they haven't took the time to understand her or get to know her because she is more hard work than 'normal' kids but I sent the pictures and to save face they had to put the picture on the wall and I'm not going to lie it put a very smug grin of my face. My husband and I don't do cards ect. But if I need anything I know he will find a way. I love him to bits. We are.jist us and I wouldn't change us for the world now. I think you are beautiful just the way you are Karen and I connect with you on many things and enjoy all the content you put out here. Thankyou for sharing your thoughts and wonderful family. 🌹❤️🌹

Definitely send those pics to your friend with the dog! I guarantee she won't notice the mess or even care when she sees how loved her pup is in them!!! I PROMISE!!!! 🤗💜🤗

If you have a window in your closet you could put a window ac unit in it or in your bedroom to help keep it cool. I need a super cold room to sleep so I have a window unit in my room for the summer so I don't freeze out the rest of the house! 😆

We may do something like that...we are thinking of a few possibilities. Or we may just live with it. 😉😂❤

My parents always say remember to put the date, month and year in the card for the future and my mom even puts that on the back of photos I give her and names of people and place on the photos! She says it will be worth it in the future for me and my siblings…. And I understand why she does this….. The other day in found a photo of myself and I covered in shoe fertiliser and I said to my mom did you leave me alone for long she said no I left you sitting in a chair in the kitchen for maybe 3 minutes and this is what I came back too 🙈 today my mom laughed at this photo and she said I’m so glad I took this photo cause I knew you would not remember it!!
