Life is good. Life is hard. Though I don’t know you personally I have benefited from all you shared with us. Wishing you all are well, safe, happy, and strong, even if not all the time. We are with you even if just in spirit. Much love. ❤

I know this is an old video, but it really hit home for me. I was disfigured 6 years after the last ugly law was repealed. I have been dealing with this ableism my entire life. I don't think I will ever forget my first day of school when the teacher seen me and immediately stated "You belong in the basement with the other retards" or first job interview that stated "I won't hire because of your face". The only thing I have found that helps end the ableism is more people, especially kids being exposed to people with disabilities and getting to know that we are just people too!

You guys are amazing people and parents, much love for years.

I'm 20, and I used to sit shotgun with my mom as much as possible but I don't anymore, mainly because I like to give my guide dog plenty of room in the back. I'm completely blind but I did enjoy having control over the radio in the front! Haha but I totally understand David thinking that sitting in the back is safer. I'm autistic and car accidents are a big source of anxiety for me, especially with my guide dog being in the car.

I have intellectual disabilities i was 18 years old in school i have speech problems as well and you kid are cute god bless you and u kids as well

Apple is really starting to annoy me and that's putting it lightly! When it comes to Braille screen input I find whenever I use it, the keyboard stays hidden even if I turn VoiceOver off and back on again, so I would have to completely restart my phone to bring it back. Next year I will be switching to android and I really love typing with the TalkBack braille keyboard. It's just so much easier even with a bigger screen. I am using a Samsung A53 5G alongside my iPhone. It was given to me by my father who used it for 2 years and it still works fine.

Most people do not think before they speak. I have Spina Bifida and i have a son that did not get a disabled but people did not think that I can take care of my son by myself. I wanted to prove everyone wrong. I raised him for 4 years (2-6). Those are the years that he remembers and treasures! Sometimes you just have to ignore those kinds of people!
