4:25 I love crawlspaces in Tomb Raider, Half Life & many other games and even I say Last Revelation has too many as it doesn’t have TR5’s somersault to get out of them faster. You could say they slow the game down to a crawl.

Just like in Semerkhet, seeing y'all go through the thing when I fully knew the door was already (in this case) open 💀 PAIN lol, the struggle was real. The minitour absolutely terrified me as a teen, and the whole speed challenge made me so nervous knowing he could come in any second. Now I'm actually excited for this part and fully looking forward to it in the remasters. Hope the rest of Cairo goes more smoothly for Alfredo🤭

I remember being so scared of that Minotaur, that I learned the bike glitch in order to kill him and finish this level with a little bit less anxiety. 😂 These videos are always a pleasure to watch. Take care, you guys! And have a wonderful week! 😊

This section of the game is my favourite. Lara couldn't climb that bladder because of the Minotaur's hits near the gate. Every time you hear the hit, the hit wave stops Lara.

This level is like 40 Fathoms in terms of frustration, but with a Minotaur just to spice things up. Going to look good on the remaster though.

I think they really are the Egyptian army, and they just shoot anything that moves because they really are under attack from (almost) anything that moves. Haha and yeah, I was worried the minotaur would get out... all that work and it's not even permanent! A timed run and a rope - and actually a long rope jump too! It's tricky because if you jump after she starts swinging back (even if it's just the very beginning so it's not even visible), her jump becomes much shorter because she's not propelled forward. Also, sometimes Alfredo flies through some part of a level without even realizing there was a trap or some trick to it, but this time he got all the bad luck. I was so stressed when he didn't immediately climb the ladder XD And sure enough, the minotaur was back by the time he tried. Congrats on getting through this part!

i hate that the rope logic is that you need to jump at the apex of the rope swing instead of when she was the fastest before she slows down, which clearly alfredo being a man of science was trying to do instead of defying that logic to make her jump the furthest -.-

I got very lucky with a glitch and climbed the ladder without the Minotaur knocking me down with the shockwaves in my very first go. It's only later when i was replaying TR4 (to get all the secrets) that i figured out that i _needed_ to trap him in the Mosque because in this second try, the glitch wasn't working. I never tried the hands only ladder climb glitch and it's sad that's been patched out. It's also interesting that he doesn't seem to care about you climbing around in the Mosque but loses it only if you're on the other gated ladder.

You can kill that statue guy with your bike if you get it just right by the side of the path before going onto the next stage its tricky to do but it is possible, or just ignore the statue and carry on unless you want the secret 😊

Saber Interactive should add collecting husband points in the remastered version of TR4 😉 BTW I used to crawl into tight space behind to the old petrol based heater connected to the wall when I was little and could fit in nicely and get warm in winter. I definitely enjoyed your playthrough of Chambers of Tulun Alfredo!

This is the good thing about Tomb Raider serious, no tips, you need to figure out things and learn how to sort things out, and in this TR4 puts a lot stress playing it, yes its frustrating, but its extremely challenging and thats what is great about it. I remember when I let the kids play it and they get to this parts where they're chased by mommies or spooky places, they tend to leave the game ... LMAO

Its not too dark, use flares and its nighttime after all.. TR3 on PS1 was the most dark tho, it was really too much even daytime was a bit dull there.

This section of the game was a nightmare when I played it as a kid especially this level. Funny you mentioned London being dark, I guess that's why I don't like that part of TR3 either.

This was the most frustrating segment in the game - but you guys reloading a save (a save made mid attempt when you weren't even aware you were timed!) instead of completing a failed run in order to kill all the annoying enemies for future attempts made it so much harder on yourselves. It's a very gimmicky level.

Levels like these are the reason why I could never play this game. There are great moments and some amazing level design choices, but the game is so frustrating. Not fun like the other TRs.

That whole thing with the « Minotaur » made me rage quit back in the day, I could never finish that game. Let’s hope the developers find a way to make things easier and more obvious for the players in the upcoming remaster 🤞

I really love TR4, but I think some of the puzzles are a little too obscure. Not sure if they’ll adjust that sort of thing in the remaster, but I agree it could do with it just a bit!
