I worked with Diana Haun for a couple of months at around the time she murdered Sherri. I also used to talk to Michael occasionally at the deli in the Vons where he worked. Needless to say while she had gone missing he surely didn't act in any way that he was upset or concerned. I spent some time with Diana, often alone, at work and she was always very quiet, and a bit creepy. She was often seen reading witchcraft books and never was socially comfortable with her coworkers. I was questioned during the investigation and after the arrests. The questions were mainly geared towards Diana's character and other things. Looking back now, I often get the chills knowing I had spent time with her not knowing what kind of evil person she really was.

Did she say she wasn't socially comfortable? I'm only asking bc I know a few people who just don't like folks lol However I myself have a little social anxiety and I would say they don't have that issue, they just don't like people.. if that makes sense.

Then you factor in the police unions and the fact that police have qualified immunity, and the bad officers go unchecked, the corruption grows, and the town/city suffers the consequences. It is very likely the police asked Diana Haun specific questions about her injuries ("gee, a bike accident? What happened? How did you hit your head?") etc. etc. When someone is asked a question that requires an explanation, a liar will fabricate a weak story. They don't expect the interviewer/s to repeat the question and compare her stories. Overall, it's strange but true that criminals will often lie about an event unrelated to the crime --- because they don't anticipate the detectives' focus on details, or that the police will go a few steps further to determine if the story is true. The criminal establishes his/her lack of integrity - revealing the negative character traits of the criminal. Check out the channel 'JCS - Criminal Psychology' to understand how the police interview process has become far more sophisticated than I ever imagined. The author of the channel walks the viewer through a number of real-life interviews and explains what the detective does, says, and maneuvers the suspect to reveal his crime. It's uncanny. They read body language and interpret the statements so accurately.

That would be considered junk science these days. Unless you could analyse the adhesive composition and prove that its chemical make up was exactly the same, and differed enough to other brands, it wouldn't be considered a strong enough match. Many "sciences" used in those days are now considered junk science. For example, arson investigation has changed a lot, and is now considered more of a subjective analysis, as opposed to objective science. People were executed and given life sentences based on arson investigators, some of whom were found innocent later on. One guy was convicted of killing his entire family, and later found innocent. It's crazy when you think that a father loses his entire family, and then his freedom too!

21:06 "We know from *years of police experience* that it is impossible for anyone to fall over the handle bars of a bike without putting their hands out to break their fall.." *Is he some kind of idiot?????* You don't need *YEARS OF POLICE EXPERIENCE* to come to a conclusion of fact that it is normally an automatic reflex to put your hands out to brace a fall. A third grader knows this fact!!! OMG these guys are a piece of special work! LMAO!

I always have to laugh about the direction of this series. Arrested on Feb. 2, but the leaves are out on all the trees. It looks like summer. This happens with so many of these shows. They must be doing them in Southern California.

They usually film in one location I'd think... it would take a lot of money, energy & time to drive all around the country to find a correct seasonal setting to match the storyline lol

I,d like witnesses told lying will add 5 years to their sentence, just incase it results in the truth.Anyone else think its strange that 2 people come together and kill? How many don,t report a threat to a ex.....discussed...?

Am I the only one concerned about the lack of cleaning for the rental car? Why return it in that state and the staff didn't look at it and at least think it should be cleared before next rental? Also it would smell after a while.

Did anyone else catch this? At 44:07 they say “the 31 y/o” then at 48:28 it states: “on 2-2-96 father & son were arrestd, but at 49:18 his DOB is 9-26-66, arrest date of arrest was 2-26-96. According to the narrator, he was 31y/o, but according to the pic taken he was nearly 29.5 y/o. And if they were “arrested on 2-2-96, WHY DOES THE PIC show 2-26-96? Where were they between 2-2-96 & 2-26-96, that’s 24 days...??? Apparently ACCURACY of facts is not as important to the writers, narrators or producers of this program, as other things. If police work was this messed up all cases would be thrown out & criminals would be on the streets free to keep doing what they do.
