The nerve of calling OP a gold digger when she was essentially financing Carrie's school and car... if anything, that makes ALL THREE OF THEM the gold diggers. Michael still has a long way to go. He's lucky OP didn't divorce him ON THE SPOT for stealing her money for the car.

I will say that OP's justification doesn't hold water, but she is definitely not a gold digger.

If it's me i would just leave without any words. The next time he'll hear from me is the divorce papers. I do not want to be with a man who have no backbone and will only do something because something is at stake. Michael sucks.
@sparkeyjames4 ай бұрын
@fairy OP and Michael are both spineless. One was afraid to do anything for fear of angering her husband and Michael was so wrapped up in pleasing his daughter that nothing else mattered including his wife. The only saving grace is that OP finally snapped and it woke everyone up. Well everyone but Carrie of course since she so self centered and toxically hateful toward the new spouses that there was no waking her up. It's to bad it came to OP moving out and threatening a divorce but sometime such harsh things need to happen to wake people up.

@MegaHarvickFan294 ай бұрын
Agreed. But I blame Carrie's parents more than anything. They originally divorced over 8 years ago and it's crystal clear that that child needed therapy YEARS ago. She's 16 now and behavior like that is hard to correct when it's left unchecked for that long. Hopefully she can become a rational, intelligent adult and have a solid footing to start her life with.

God help any child that Carrie's parents have with their new partners.
@Maninawig4 ай бұрын
The fact that she did that to both parents is the interesting part for me, as I normally hear this entitlement towards one parent. Imo, Nina takes the lion's share of the blame as she lived with her daughter (more contact) and hid the fact of her attitude. I do hope they warned the grandparents though.
@ceded65434 ай бұрын
Seems like her mother played a big part in that by putting thoughts in her daughter's head.

Worse. The ex was trying to save her own marriage by passing the daughter off to her ex and didn't care if it destroyed his marriage. Carrie has basically whined herself out of any family, really.

This story was absolutely INFURIATING to listen too... Carrie is a spoiled, entitled little brat, but...Michael is WAYYYY worse... Yes! That was my end takeaway too! He literally tried to rug sweep once he knew the details of how horrible Carrie was to OP and tried to get OP to come back and care for Carrie after learning his daughter is a bully and abuser to OP. This "change" isn't going to last and I feel horrible for OP because there is DEFINITELY more toxicity and drama in store for her down the line.

It’s sad that OP didn’t have the backbone to stand up for herself earlier. Carrie should’ve been 1) in therapy and 2) told she was a child not the adult in charge. Seriously she’s gearing up to be a master manipulator. No child truly likes being in that much power because it’s just chaotic and they’re still learning to navigate life and others won’t roll over as easily as stepmom and dad. And of course bio mom is getting her shits and giggles knowing what a nightmare Carrie is

@kit46163 ай бұрын
@@teelyn1609Victim blaming doesn’t help anyone. When you’re being emotionally and mentally abused by people who are supposed to love you, it can be hard to recognize. Unfortunately it is up to the individual to find support that won’t allow them to make the same mistake again. Abusers often front a ‘mask’ that slowly peels away the more confident they become that you won’t leave. Fear and anxiety is turned into a tool for the abuser. You clearly lack life experience and would be of little help if someone in your family was in a similar situation. Maybe re-evaluate this part of your worldview, honey.

I wonder if his change of heart was not an epiphany, but, rather, instead a change in tactics because self-preservation for at least one or both reasons... 1. Mike really, really, really does not want to be BBs (butt-buddies) with an inmate who sees him as "the one," at least for, you know, now.... men can be more fickle than a woman... 2. Mike knew that the divorce would actually be the equivalent to the apocalypse making him lose his personal ATM and would definitively cause the completely abrubt and with this act it will be the permanent cessation of his account with the Bank of OP... (you know... his cash 🐮🐮cow🐮🐮) Also the parents, Michael and Nina, FAILED THEIR CHILD. 1. If Nina was not trying so hard to plant seeds of discord with OP and Michael's relation, by weaponizing and exploiting her own child to do so, then perhaps Carrie could have eventually thawed out a bit by lessening the intensity of the attacks. The bitterness, resentment, hatred, antagonistic, churlish, obnoxious, cruel, mercenary, and disturbing behaviors, actions could have had the potential of creating a bond or an understanding, cordiality. If Carrie and her parents had all began too put Carrid into therapy including individual and as a family counciling through individual employed healthier coping mechanisms as opposed to , beliefs, and causing abandonment issues, insecurities,
