I love to hear couples origin stories. My partner and I met in a bar and last Sunday celebrated 23 years together. When we met we lived over 200 miles apart but that only lasted a few more months until my lease ran out. We've been together ever since and have hardly spent a day where we don't see each other. I love to see how you two interact with each other and your fur babies. I always look forward to the next upload.

Loved hearing this story again 🥰 sounds just like how I met my husband back in 1983……yeah I’m old 😂lol. He was 18 and I was 20 just like you guys. Clearly this was way before the internet was even a thought,,, we met through a personal ad in a gay publication back in NYC. Had to actually mail a response to my husbands ad to answer it…..now I sounds like a freaking dinosaur 🦖 lol. Also had to sneak our love making in his family’s basement, and we got caught also 😵‍💫 yikes! So unow we have our own home and happily in love for 39 years now. ♥️ Love & Hugs Guys.

I love your story! My husband and I were also 18 (and a half) and 20 (one year apart in college) and just had our 30th anniversary. When you meet young, you kind of grow up together but also keep the same chemistry and playfulness forever. It's pretty amazing, and I love seeing other couples have that same experience. When I was a little boy a TV set was a new piece of technology. As a Gay kid there was a lot of little heartthrobs on black and white TV. As a teenager I was from the Woodstock generation of make love not war but I was in my 20's before that happened. The telephone was still a thing that hung on the kitchen wall or you could make a call for a quarter. It's been a wild ride, this thing called life and I've enjoyed it and still am. 15 years is a very long time, especially when you start at a young age. During my relationship of the past 29 years, we've found that the 3 Key Ingredients are: 1. Communication 2. Communication 3. and lastly, Communication. Any relationship requires a certain amount of negotiation, and can feel like handing over power to the other person. Which is why Communication is so key. Relationships are also work! In addition to taking care of yourself, you also have to think of your other half, and to put energy into the relationship itself. But when you do that, you end up with a healthy, stable relationship.
