This is so true, I stopped complaining to GOD about my husband and started praising him to the lord and to him and the change was astronomical! Gratitude I became grateful and that made a huge difference. I think it's because it's a practice of faith when you speak life. Truly is life and death in the power of the tongue...and we are accountable for every idle word. Speak life daily into your children and loved ones!

True, speaking life to your partner is needed. This couples testimony is spot on. Marriage is always, always, always worth reconciliation. In today’s times, everyone is so busy with schedules and married couples relations are pushed to the back burner. Date night is so needed & Its important to listen, listen, listen to each other. True, do not look to change each other. Women need to support their husbands with their decisions and if they ask your opinion ladies, wait for the right timing to share your thoughts. Marriage is not a one up, my way only rather it’s a team. A woman wants to be loved and a man wants to be respected. Just as the word of God tells us. If there is a break in that connection, it will cause a distance in that relationship. Every relationship takes work. icebergs will cross the patch of life.

Love is not just an emotion you "feel". The Way of Love: 1Co 13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 1Co 13:2 And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 1Co 13:3 And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. 1Co 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 1Co 13:5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 1Co 13:6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 1Co 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1Co 13:8 Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. 1Co 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; 1Co 13:10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. 1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I used to speak as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. 1Co 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully just as I also have been fully known. 1Co 13:13 But now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

We go to their church sometimes. I was surprised to see them on here. It's a big church with several services. I just wish they would preach repentance at their church, against homosexuality, fornication, abortion, modesty, sin. That's what I don't like about these megachurches. Somebody actually confronted them about that and they said that's how they do church. Just do what's right and Godly, telling people what sin is and that it's not ok to live in it. Not only the feel good message. Good message on here otherwise.
@roseg29382 жыл бұрын
People in all kinds of sin, know they are sinning. God has put a knower in us to know when we are doing wrong. The word says “ it’s the goodness of God that leads us to repentance “.What people need is to know the goodness of God and that they are not condemned. Jesus came to save sinners and not condemn them. Nobody resists love. Let them know they are loved…All those that you have named are precious in his eyes. He died for them.
@biancahotca32442 жыл бұрын
@@roseg2938 Of course they are precious in God's eyes, but that does not mean you don't have to teach repentance and on sin. It's not about condemning people to hell, heavens no! But you have to tell people as well what sin is. Preach on it as well. Another mega church pastor I saw was not preaching that from what I know and he totally fell through eventually, fornication, living in sin.

One of the best advice I ever hear : 174 A young fellow come to me, not long ago. He was a Pentecostal. He had seen too many of these meetings. And he goes in, his wife was a staunch Lutheran, she said, “Well, I guess you all went down and shouted last night.” Said, “I guess you was all speaking in tongues and doing all this last night.” He got on the floor, said, “God, cast…I cast the devil out of her! I cast the devil out of her!” Almost a divorce case. 175 Man, a fine man; he come to me, and he said, “Brother Branham, we’re going to have a divorce, I guess.” Said, “I just can’t get that devil to move out of her.” 176 I said, “Brother, you’re going at it the wrong way.” I said, “When she starts like that, say, ‘All right, dear. Bless your heart, honey,’ and be real kind to her. Just see how much you can do for her.” Said, “Brother Branham, well, how will I ever get the devil out?” I said, “You do as I say, and just keep praying in your heart, see.” I said, “God will take care of the rest of it.” He called me up, about two or three weeks later, he said, “My home is revolutionized.” He said, “My wife is a different person.” 177 I said, “Which is the most powerful? screaming and kicking and stomping? or putting your arms around her, in love?” God is love. That God so loved the world! Ever since by faith I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply, Redeeming love has been my theme, And shall be till I die. She seems unrealistic and hypocritical. His sin, as she puts it, was he was always gone and not engaged with the family. Yet he planned a spectacular night full of conversation about good memories of EACH YEAR. How can you have happy memories with your wife to talk about for every year of your marriage if you are never there? It is impossible. She needed to talk with him the moment she was bitter. She is the one who disengaged. "So long, whatever." Is how she responded to him. Instead of speaking up like an adult she hardened her heart towards him without any warning. No head's up. Nothing. And on a night that should have been celebratory she blindsided him with her dissatisfaction. He is an incredible man to respond the way he did. She needs to mature. I hope her story includes repentance as well. She seems to be more self aware at the end of this, and I am glad to see she was part of the problem. Which is good.

Even if it meant for him to be out of the house for significant periods of time. I would also suspect that she was cheating on him. She was very self-centered. It was all about her and her happiness.
