I dont think fans care to see that anymore. You could do a 7 on 7 and people would be happy. Do Pro Bowl games the rest of the time. Scrimmages during spring are for the coaches to watch and evaluate. Fans want a show.

I always had a problem with spring games. Great to see the players but who do you root for?? If the offense does great than our defense is terrible or if defense is great then the offense stinks. Hard to watch for that reason for me.

For me I don't care about the spring game at all, but I don't live in Nebraska anymore so people there might want it still. I want healthy players for the season, so maybe make the spring game more of a fun atmosphere than a competitive one...

I think it would be way more fun watching position competitions. Most the reason the spring game is fun for the city is because it’s another day to drink all day and go downtown as the weather turns and people want out of the house.

It's too bad about possibly losing the Spring Game. For many fans, especially kids, it's the only way they can see the Huskers in person. The cost of a family of 4 to attend a game is out of reach for many people.

They should do a spring game still 1st half is competitions like they had in pro bowls then a 2qtr scrimmage

What if they did something like the Pro bowl skill games? That's the only thing that's watchable and I think a lot of people really like it. Of course you can't make everyone happy but it lets kids showcase skills and gives the fans something to watch.

We don't even know for SURE that the roster is going to be cut to 105! The NCAA hasn't said for SURE what the numbers will be! THANKS NCAA YOU HAVE FAILED THE FANS AGAIN!

So ridiculous that the ncaa made teams cut down on roster size simply to save costs. Idk what rev share is appropriate. Maybe its 25% of revenue goes to athletes or something and the ncaa massively dials back the costs but making teams shed players is just preposterous. This is also a logistical nightmare waiting to happen. You are going to add 3-4 games to the schedule for the best teams and also make them reduce player counts. Teams already needed alternates due to injuries in a regular schedule with 110+ rosters. Inceaseing one end and decreasing the other end may just make games coin flips as to whose players get injured at the optimal time.

My goodness, can we move on from Corker and Teddy... They're just going to take reps from somebody else and they will inevitably get hurt. Sorry that might be harsh but we can use past history confidently. Turner might last a bit but Teddy's knees are done. And I think it would be healthy to have other guys knowing that they need to prep for that spot instead of missing out on the attention at the reps because they are a backup. I would have loved to see another offensive tackle.... I do wonder if Kentucky was so pissed off that we emptied their wide receiver room.... That they went hard after Dowdell and offensive tackle Target.

the short sighted ideology of 'we got to pay players' has had many ramifications. End of walk on, roster limitations, end of spring games, transfer portal chaos.. the spring game is more than a glorified practice. the band, cheerleaders, also its huge $$ for the city. Huge money. Big revenue for the Univ. you got giant universities already scratching for ways to keep up with NIL. Tenn/ Bama to name a few.. smh. im for paying players but somethings need to be done to reel in the absurdities.

$1,000,000 spring game rev. Get Lloyds of London policies for big NIL players. Then scrimmage K State for a spring game. Home and Home by year.

I'd prefer healthy players over a spring game. Don't want a Demetrius bell and blye hill repeat. Just do some different type of event

Or maybe Nebraska basketball has stayed at the same level while all the other teams are gelling and finding there roles by now. Player development, recruiting, offense motions, all complete ass. Not to mention they are not even fun to watch anymore
