I am ok with smart, vocal, social….stubborn and escape artists, not so much. Love all dogs, huskey included, but cannot not have them as they shed like crazy and have dander …..one of the family has allergies, and it will be unfair to a huskey as I am in the tropical zone. For this reason, I have a small mini poodle (just slightly bigger than toy)

I have watched a lot of clips of Huskies. They are the most vocal and adorable dog on the planet. Yes it appears they are drama queens.🤣🤣💖💖💖💖

IMHO Huskies do not ACT like a Drama Queen - they are indeed Drama Queens! That is part of their quirky, entertaining personalities.

I have only had one, but it was memorable. Best dog i ever had. I miss him terribly. It was my first Siberian husky, so i was surprised at him. All these little quirky things i see here.

They are a very unique breed. Extremely good with kids. They seem to appreciate that little kids can be brittle.

If my husky didn't speak back to me, I would literally spend all my time talking to myself like a crazy person. At least having my dog talk back gives me some sort of confirmation that I exist and am actually speaking lol

My buddy has a husky. I do watch from time time. He's a trip. They have so much energy. That breed will keep on your toes. They get into everything..

I've only had one, but looking at this video that could have been mine, right down to the color and size. A long haired siberian husky. I was told he couldn't be used for breeding because he was long haired, apparently it's a defect. But anyway, a man who had two sleds gave him to me. He was just under two years old. As a field geologist I took him with me a few times. Several times I thought I lost him, but he knew when it was supportive and time to go. After a while , as he got older, he kept close to me in the woods. Really good company, particularly in bear country. But he would wander off at first, but after a bit I would hear him coming up behind me. But he seemed to be able to tell time, because he eventually gave up wandering and stayed close to me. When I headed back to the truck, he knew we were going home, and was ready. When we got home he was happy to go, and to arrive. At one time I tried to take him on a leash, so after that he stayed home.

Above, I took him on a leash at times because it was hunting season and I was told that a forest ranger would shoot him on sight. I never carried a weapon, just a knife for survival if I got lost or broke a leg or something. I was often working alone since I was working for an American. A Canadian company would have sent a assistant with me. Americans never worked alone, so I guess they thought Canadians were made of better stuff!
