Husky has had my eye lately and when I noticed they had a tool cart like Milwaukee I wanted to see it live. I don't buy a tool until I research it unless of course, it's a mad impulse buy.

Professional handyman here. I’ve had the Connect system from Husky for a year and a half. The rolling set up, the cantilever, and about eight of the milk crates. The best kept secret is the milk crate boxes have no lids! You wouldn’t believe what a hassle flip up lids can be when you are working on site, outside, with wind blowing. Lids just get in the way or blow down. Also, are useless when your boxes stacked and locked. Keter makes the Husky Connect boxes. I’ve been beating up my Keter workbench for 10 years, and it’s still going strong. So I trust these boxes will hold up a long time, too.

I'm an IT technician and got one of these a few months ago. Bottom box I keep a tool bag with my drills bits, power tools, etc. Middle tool box I keep cables, adapters. Hand tools in the tray, etc. Top I keep network connectors, keystone jacks, screws, drywall stuff, etc. I like it because it's compact, I removed the screws from the handle and just friction alone holds it in so I can take it off and put it under my bed cover. It doesn't get beat around. Basically rolled in and out of offices. I agree not pro quality but for what do, diy light duty construction it's perfect for the price.

Pro handyman here. I've been using these four years now, nothing's broken so far. 5:20 these $15 caddies are perfect and an economical way to expand the system as your tools and project types grow with you. Does the bottom rolling box handle steps. A lot of manufacturers are defective. The rolling box catches on the step , instead of clearing it . The Milwaukee is TOO bulky, try latching when loaded 😅🥸. This is a great portable unit with drawers.

Couple weeks ago, I almost got this plastic Husky kit because the price was good. But after some evaluation, i decided not too. On a side note, Husky has a very good 3 piece 22 inch tool tote with wheels, and with 16 inch and 14 inch bags - All stackable and I have been using it full time for trade about 2 years.. It is a solid 3 piece setup and it put it through a lot heavy use. The only think I don’t like is that it is made of strong fabric, which means I shouldn’t my tool totes after working in a dusty and muddy environment. With the plastics, I don’t have that issue after a rinse at end of day.

Michael Thanks for your comment. This was a first impression video. I believe it was said the boxes were good for technical work a couple of times. At one point I was a planner managing over 800 cell tower builds and Network upgrades. Your toolset may vary greatly depending on what you do from a climber to a tester. We were mostly looking at this from construction and mechanical view. I still have concerns that this set of boxes would hold up to the abuse I put it through on my side hustle business. I may be wrong but I wouldn't bet my money on it. Just my opinion. Hey, but I am glad to hear that it works great for you, and I may need to give this box set a deeper review. Cheers!

We own a glass company and all our installers have these boxes. For over 2 years...the only issue we have had is with the clear plastic top, you have to make sure the tools clear the lid before closing or the clear plastic will break ...but for the price its the best bang for the buck.

The larger husky system is the Buildout. I think the Buildout would be closer to Milwaukee Packout system, although Milwaukee would be the preference of many. Personally, for my apartment, this connect system is perfect for my tool and hardware storage. I also addded the 4th Cantilever piece on top and It really helped consilidate my brackets, fittings, and hardware.

I have a bunch of the Husky branded 22-inch cantilever tools boxes and parts boxes. They aren’t as nice as the Dewaulkie stuff, only in that the Husky stuff isn’t weather proof. But riding around in my van, that is kind of a moot point. If I still worked out of a pickup, it would be an issue. The tool box bottoms are large enough to hold a drill driver combo, and the charger. Leaving lots of room for bits, screws and other things in the top layer. And I think all of the Husky, Milwaukee, and DeWalt are all made by Keeter.

I'm thinking of selling my Craftsman rolling tool box and buying this for my shop. Takes up less space and is portable to move around the shop or in the home working on diy projects. I hate trying to grab all my tools out of the garage and just resorting to throwing them into a bucket and then having to unload them all. I am tempted by the DeWalt or Milwaukee but really can't justify the current $200 and $279 price tags. I'm sure they're great and would stand up to any abuse but I don't have a need for something that rugged. I have 3 of the Husky parts organizers and love them. I love the pull out plastic bins.

I don't think it's that we are negative it simply doesn't fit our use case or the use cases for most pros. We give examples of where we believe the system fits. The boxes seem light and delicate, I don't believe it could handle the abuse I put my tool boxes through. This was a first impressions video and at first glance compared to any other system it's thin and looks flimsy. It's good to hear from users that they have had a good experience tho. I have not done full testing as I didn't want to invest in the units. Also note I am a fan of Husky and their tools and often recommend them. I still think if you are in a technical field or really careful this system will be fine for you but if you do heavy work these boxes are not a good fit.

If you took a moment to view my other videos, you would see I am a fan of Makita and other brands as well. Did you see my review on the Rigid tool box system? I praised the Rigid boxes for their design and cost effectiveness. They seemed strong and economically priced. A very good choice. Unfortunately for the work I do, I did not believe the Husky would stand up to the abuse. They seems flimsy but as you have reported it works for you and others have said the same.
