Michigan alum here - always have had respect for he Huskies, these are strong men, you guys played a great game. I sat thru UM's devastating loss at Husky stadium back in '01 and that was the LOUDEST stadium of fans I've ever heard, an I've been to a lot of CFB stadiums. Those fans rock. I know it’s never fun to lose or fall short . But Washington is amazing. 14-1 is an insane achievement. Rings and trophies from the conference and the bowl win. I hope they recover from the disappointment and hve nothing but pride . this is just 1 of many tough battles between these two teams . Good game, amazing season huskies

I used to make fun of people who cried when losing a sports game. I then grew the hell up and realised when you set goals in life and truly put your heart and soul into achieving those goals and you fail to reach them, you're not supposed to be stoic about it. People tend to do a lot of self talk to relieve the pressure of success to cushion the blow of failure. Those who truly make it to the mountain top don't say these things to themselves. I no longer look at those who cry or get pissed off at losing as being sore losers. I see them as people who truly wanted something and would except nothing less and refused to entertain anything to the contrary. These guys wanted to win and I don't expect them to be happy and content in not winning. Washington played a great game, they just came up short.
