I took apart an old Echo leaf blower today and when I took off the cylinder off it all made sense how it worked. Intake, exhaust , transfers etc. Thank You Tinman for your hours of explaining how 2 strokes work.

A buddy a mine gave me a husky 162se Sat that had been sitting a long long time. New fuel line and carb kit and was cutting wood the next day. Super impressed with the old girl
@tdawg86053 жыл бұрын
Ok so you inspired me. I just took that carb off again on my 268 and I messed up putting it together tired. I put the wrong gasket between the carb and the manifold. So right gasket later my baby is back purring. Excited to put it in the wood now. Seals, coil, spark plug, carb rebuild, check muffler, check ring and cylinder (tons of compression). Also had a hole in the top cover that was sucking in sawdust at the carb (JB weld has now fix that). Tuned with tack 2700 at idle and 12400 top end. Restarts half pull. Thanks for the context and inspiration Tinman I'll let you know how it cuts this weekend. Mahalo🤙

That looks like it's gonna be a great saw. Those Titanikel cylinders look really nice, i wish we could get them for Homelites, Macs and Poulans. I never thought to pre assemble the intake on the jug, that just makes too much sense. Now, if i can only remember that the next time i'm bolting one together. Keep up the good work, I always look forward to your videos.
