D mo na mention boss if fully adjustable front suspension. Was trying to see a video if may adjustment levers s front forks just like the ones sa ibang bansa, pero in all nice review boss. Iba pla Duke compared s Husqvarna.

depending how long is your upper body po. sa akin kasi, mas mahaba yung upper body than my legs, so medyo a bit smallish tingnan yung bike sa akin. even the duke390 looks a bit small, 790 ata yung tamang proportion para sa height ko po e. pero overall, di naman pangit yung bike… so okay lang po. i will still get a svart if budget permits

how is the heat from the exhaust compared to the duke 390? i am thinking of re-routing the exhaust of my 401 through the frame.

you can't really feel the heat in the svart. the duke gets irritating during traffic due to the heat. but something you get used to. remember, i always ride my duke on shorts, sometimes even on a bit longer rides.

hi sir, i’ve driven both svart and vitpilen. same same. the KTM guys are aware of it as well. something to do with the BS6. 😊

but no worries sir, i was just comparing it from a duke owner’s perspective. pero as i have mentioned dun sa vitpilen review, you’ll get used to this one and would actually appreciate it for the torque at higher rpm. nagulat lang siguro ako when i first tried the svart after riiding the duke and was expecting the same. 😊

Planning to own this for daily commute. I like the designs of husqvarna kasi compact sya tingnan. As I age kasi, im starting to loke or prefer more simple yet can give more thrill bikes. Yung pa chill ka lg but mag eenjoy ka sa long rides and twisties. Yun lg concern ko yung vibration although 400cc sya but single cylinder. I hope maka test drive ako ng vitpilen or svartpilen. Ride safe brother

gusto ko pa sana makipagkwentuhan pero yung nag assist sa akin, di ata naintindihan yung instructions nung contact natin sa KTM na vlogger ako (meaning I am given more time for the test ride). binigyan lang ako ng standard 15 minutes for the whole rise itself. kaya nataranta na ako. hahah. i was inly able to ride it for 30 mins sad to say.

Hindi mo maaapreciate ang ganda ng porma nito kapag ndi ka classic bike lover boss hehe, pra sakin fan din kasi ako ng classic bikes. Kapag kinumpara mo ito kay duke masasabi ko lang is Duke pa din siya na ginawang classic ang outer designs kasi same engine specs. kinagandahan lang nito is pirelli tires na dual sport pwede sa lubakan at sa mga stretch roads .

bumili ako ng svart 701 d2 sa states and post it sa fb. Gulat ako not many people know about this bike. Mga kaibigan ko nag tatanong kung anong bike yan anong brand, pag sinabi ko husqvarna d nila alam kaya sinasabi ko na lang sa kanila family ng ktm hahaha. Ayaw ko lang talaga sa bike na to is ung display, im planning to buy a dash replacement mod. Ipalit ung dash ng duke 390

hehehe it’s alright boss. i’m just basing it on my gut feel. i was riding my 390 just before riding the 401, so i could vividly compare the two. the only difference naman is the delivery as i mentioned. biglaan kay duke, while linear yung kay 401. you will have to rev it higher to actually feel the umph that the 373 engine is known for. 😊 paper actually states same torque output, so i won’t refute that 😊

hmm… gen2 po ba or gen1 na duke? problematic po kasi ata yun mga pre 2016 gen1 na models… pero usually due to the poor cooling ng radiator fans. may work around na po dun… try nyo po ang dual fan setup. 😊

hello sir, the limiter is for maxing out the rpms. Yung napoint out ko po dito sa test ride ko is the acceleration on low rpms pa lang. si KTM BGC na rin po kasi nagsabi na magkaiba daw talaga behavior ni Svart sa Duke390. So i am guessing mapping of the ECUs may be different kaya magkaiba ang power delivery. :)

I've seen video after video where they compare the Szartpillen to the Duke . The Szartpillen is tuned differently. Its tuned to get power in the upper rpm's. I prefer to hear owner reviews. This guy shows up for a quick test drive and tries to do a review. It's shocking how unprepared some of them are. From what I've heard it takes up too a 1000 miles for the quick shift to break in .

the unit was a demo unit and already has a few thousand kms into the mileage. the quickshifter is not installed in this unit yet. and as per the KTM folks who sells these bikes, tuning is no different with the Dukes. it is just that my duke is the older duke while the engine of the svart was BS6… i see no reason why we can’t do a comparison, since many, like myself, was expecting the same engine performance having the “same” engine. 😊 i guess no once was claiming to be an expert, more of ride impression.
