The best thing to do is to put the cable back on first before the hoses. Keeping the hoses up inside near their locations. I have been struggling for hours putting this saw back together. This piece of crap has a flywheel with the keyway molded to it. If you hit something hard and stop the chain the key will shear. Then you have to replace the entire flywheel! I have the x-torq model.

Between trying to get the piston wrist pin clips back in and and this throttle cable is a real head ache. Lets make the design engineers put this saw back together from a box of parts.

To show where the throttle linkage connects. It's easy to improperly connect it on the back side of the lever.
