Connecting fuel lines. That was the reason I disconnected everything to start with. It seems now I don't have the mounting in square as it's slightly tilted and interferes with the throttle and cover.

I spent hours trying to keep the throttle rod attached to the carb, Then I watched this video and learned about the little blue locking lever that keeps the looped end of the rod attached to the carb. I fixed the problem in seconds after learning this trick. THANK YOU!!!!!

Thank you Heather, I wondered what that blue thing was there for and now I know the throttle won't jump out when I move it in proper place. The vibration alone was a problem for making it jump out without it being there.😊

When I gas up my 455, as the tank gets nearly full, it starts to leak gas from below onto the floor or whatever is below my saw as I'm filling it. What do I need to do to troubleshoot the problem? I hear that ethanol eats up the plastic/rubber gas lines and that regular gas will no longer be available in the coming years. Are there plans to address that problem such as metal fuel lines, that you know of?
@heatherduperly98692 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure about regular gas not being available in the future. That sure would be a lot of cars that are left being decommissioned. As far as the leak goes I would check the lines that go from the gas tank to the carburetor. There are rubber grommets that hold both lines in place on top of the gas tank. They might have gone bad and leak when the tank gets full. Rubber lines are cheap to replace so I wouldn't worry about metal ones.

Hey if you got a second? I am a little confused on something. I've not really ever known chainsaws or any carburetors to not have gaskets. I've seen a handful of videos regarding this chainsaw and no gaskets were removed or replaced. But the new carb I got from Husqvarna came with gaskets. Cannot seem to figure out which one goes where. Even the schematics don't show gaskets that go on the outside in between the intake and carb. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
