You mean that grommet that's forever in the way when you're trying to adjust the carb lol. Great job Rusty looks like no carb adjustment needed I think!!!
@TheRustyRooster2 жыл бұрын
Yes Sir, that grommet I'm always forgetting to put in. I adjusted on that carb before realizing the gasket was missing and it just wasn't right. Got it real close once the carb was properly assembled

Do you need a rebuild kit to clean the carbs? Haven’t cleaned one before but mine need to be cleaned
@TheRustyRooster2 жыл бұрын
not always but its a good idea to have a kit on hand if you need it
@cobhc19862 жыл бұрын
Like Rooster said, not always, but I’ve found that most of the time, if you have to open the carb up, it’s time for a rebuild anyway. Diaphragms might have gotten stiff or you could tear a gasket while taking it apart.

Yeah you never know when the fiddle fairies have messed with a machine. I've got into a few of those messes my self Rusty. I got a mower to flip and the previous owner said it just died while mowing. It pulled over and had plenty of what looked like fresh oil. I got it to the shop and and found out that the connecting rod is supposed to be connected to the crank!🤔 That explained why the fresh oil. Lol. I repowered it with a quantum and sold it. The saw sounds like it running great now RR. 👍🇺🇸Roger
