395 pulls hard. 4 strokes in the cut. I bought one also. Its been a good one. I see no reason to modify it myself. Pulls 36" bar strong. I like quiet. I like power and noise. But my ears do alot of singing when trying to hunt now days. Sounds like its dialed in. Good video..

Nice saw. I ordered and received my chain sharpening kit you suggested. I have not tried it but looking forward to giving it the first try vs taking to hardware store for sharpening. It will pay for itself after one sharpening. Thanks for the tips. I do t have the size saws you have but mine gets what I need cut done. I would like a larger one. As I have had several trees blown down. And ended up getting someone e to at least cut up the trunk for the wood. And I could do the rest. That’s a lot of wood that will keep your house warm for a long time.
@ourkentuckyhome771 Жыл бұрын
Yes that is a lot of wood. Sometimes the bigger saws are hard to handle, mostly due to their weight and physical size. A properly running and sharp smaller saw can do a awful lot of good work. If you run into any snags, just give us a shout. Thank you

@@ourkentuckyhome771 that’s why I got the smaller sthil. The weight of a larger one. I knew it would be harder to work with. But I am a determined person. Lol. But my saw does most of what I need to do. And looking forward to my first sharpening myself. Thanks for your great videos. I also got the east start model. I had a husquavara same size but I just struggled to pull to start a d it always seemed like I needed it more in cold weather which did not help. I sold it and went with the Sthil east start.

Heard lots of good things about the 95 .I have an OEM 550 xp ,and 372xp which are great .The 95 copy could be great for the BIG days at those prices .Thanks for posting.👍

Thanks for watching, yes the 95 is a great saw, I don't regret buying it at all. I did change the off switch to a momentary switch, just because I'm prone to forgetting to switch back on. The base gasket delete and dual port muffler brought the saw to life. It's a wood hog.

I'd really like to mill some of my own logs. We would like to build a post frame roof structure over our front porch. That was main reason for the 395. I have timber here on property, need me a Alaskan mill.

The saw that really impressed me is the 372xp. After pipe and base gasket delete the saw is a animal. I also installed husqvarna momentary shut offs on both saws. Very handy I must say.
