Damn fine work and explanation. The flat rate time barely covers the diagnostics, teardown and build IF everything goes to plan. I find the warranty process to chew up more time than I'd like. I have had Husqvarna add some time to the claim if we've been on the phone a while or additional pics are necessary.

Back in 2015 I bought a 550XP and within a couple of months a crank bearing got eaten. I took it to the shop, they tore it down, contacted Husky and within about 10 days provided me with a full credit which I put towards a 562XP which I've put between 10-15 gallons of fuel through over the last 9 years and it's been great (knock on my head/wood). Customer relations are a BIG deal with dealerships. American Honda was outstanding back in the day, whenever the hello that was. We used to replace rusted out axel beams on cars that looked like the body had been hosed down in salt water about once a week. And blown head gaskets on engines, many of which required a new set of rings and bearings. It was almost like an assembly line for a while. Great job on the Hoosky. I'd have to video the whole disassembly process to get it back together properly. Gettin old's a b-atch. 👍🍻

Enjoyed this one Scott. Great work as always. Nice to know husqvarna stands by their equipment. However,I think it would be fairer that they pay warranty work according to "time on the clock" or a "fair rate" rather than a " flat rate"allowance. They should allow some degree flexibility to allow for idiosyncrasies of saws and the like.

Huge job, that's all i can say. It's like being in the assembly line but more job as finding what's the issue. And yes, it's tje best customer service when all goes smoothly and the fault isn't the owner. Great video and as i have said before when i had to do some oil channel repair it took 4 days and total action time was about 6 hours. I have some issues in my physics so that's why 4 days and i know a little bit tools so as what comes to pro league specialist as Scott is Husqvarna should extend the fix estimate at least one hour more. Take care 💪👍

The new Husqvarna dealership I deal with just replace the entire saw , it's cheaper for them in the long run to replace the entire unit that pay a technician to take the saw apart and replace the entire short block, I've seen the saws have other issues after the new short block was installed,
@TheGreasyShopRag2 ай бұрын
The choice to repair or replace isn't usually the decision of the dealer, rather husqvarna. If its a new dealer there may be consideration taken if the techs are all new. It also depends if there are new complete saws available. If not then I suppose a short block is the next option.

Those types of details aren't available to me. Some time in 2023 I guess. As for the mix ratios, I feel running 40:1 isn't a bad idea. Most manufacturers want 50:1 but from my informal research many people running 40:1 are having less wear issues.

Husqvarna follows social media for sure...at least the big channels. I saw her video, I saw Buckin Billy Rays video when they sent him a saw.
