I just did a 575. I made a splitter tool and popped it apart. Put a new husqvarna bearing in. And a 6202 bearing in the other side. Used a heat gun to heat the cases. Same setup as that saw.

Wow this is one of the best bottom end videos out there. Thanks for taking the time to teach this.

The the Husqvarna OEM bearing puller in like $350. Most shade tree saw mechanics don’t have one and use alternate methods. I’m sure the proper tool makes life way easier.

Great video. I have a 2023 562 I bought in october of last year. Does it already have updated bearings or is that one of the things the new mark 2s fixed?
@dubbssawshop6 ай бұрын
I'm not 100% sure on that, I know the cases are updated, not sure if they use different bearings or not. But I have been waiting to get my hands or eyes on a Mk2 👍🏻

@@dubbssawshop I do run 32:1 so if the bearings haven't been updated on the late Gen1s hopefully that will help them last. I hear the Mk2 562s are stronger than the original, I love my original, strong 60cc saw and boy is it high strung, they love RPM.

Its cheaper to buy the entire low end assembly for $180

Now it is, my first 562xp I did you couldn't buy the shortblock yet, just shop tools lol, go figure.

So $300-$500 worth of tools plus parts and my time. No thank you. The saw will be going in the garbage where it belongs, and Husqvarna will never get another dime out of me. Plastic bearing cages....what utter nonsense!! No one makes a decent saw anymore.

I'm sure now they are cheaper, you can buy a complete bottom end for like $200 now-a-days. 👍🏻 I agree tho. Very expensive for special tools, that they knew there was issues with anyhow.
