@@TheGreasyShopRag i'm in ohio, never had a problem with stihls, but that chain case rubs on the wood. i think it saves the muffler also. the heat really can reflect onto the top cover, so maybe saves the cylinder in the long run also. more torq would be nice, its a finess saw. i'd be interested in what the rpms actually are doing.

The 01 filter is black in color and is 64 micron. Its used for cold weather operation. The 02 filter is yellow in color and 25 microns. Its considered a general purpose filter. Never thought we'd see the day the legendary 349 is face down whipped but the day we all agree the 562 is infact the best was long ago now....alittle heavy for direct apples to apples but those of us who were running them back before the 562 what was one thing we all wanted out of a 349? Abita more power, husky delivered AND made it very fckn reliable (you know what I mean the 1st gen doesn't count) yet listened to use and continued to male them better and better After buy the 572 2 or 3 years ago I utterly live that saw too, but she's not built to handle so dam flawlessly as the 562 does. Buried deep into northeastern hardwoods 30 plus inches the 572 pulls very good, the 562 can't pull a chain like that obviously nor can she oil it. Small differences to the city boys, entirely different saws for different uses to us real good old boys
