Husqvarna | Adding Grease to Brushcutter Bevel Gear.

Bevel gear, this element works under a very decent load. Therefore, care of its lubrication is the first thing. How to add grease to the gear housing? Remove the bevel gear from the shaft. This makes it easier to fill the gear housing with grease, because there is no air pocket. It should be noted that as important as adding grease is the selection of the correct grease for a particular application should match the recommendations of the equipment manufacturer.

Good video. I ended up using Stihl FS lube on my Husky. Bearings started making noise and needed something fast. Think I got it lubed in time to prevent damage.

Do you have to pull the whole head off to check/add grease? What type of.grease you using? Husky brand grease?

Thank you for the video ! I got new Husqvarna 555 RXT. And I noticed that the gearbox is hitting too much. Fortunately I use the machine only maybe half an hour. I did add grease lubricant. The instructions are very vague. Can it be too much grease ? I had so much that gears are flooded…

Hi. I measured the compression on my Husqvarna 545 RX and it had shown 105 PSI. Is that normal? It seems preety low to me. Could you do a compression test to yours, so that I have a refference? Thanks.
