Yes the x tough is a sugihara bar. Husqvarna Partnered with them to make bars.

Except for Husqvarna of course producing bars in Sweden, Huskvarna. They started producing in USA for domestic use some years ago but im not sure what they produce there.

I wonder if the tips in the sugi and the husq bars are the same gauge. I just found out that can vary not long ago. That may explain an ounce difference.

I’m guessing the Husky branded bar has more paint.

Yes, an ounce of paint if very likely the difference

Paint. Paint makes a big difference.. and if they marked where it was made the cats kind of out of the bag so they leave that off.

There’s very likely an ounce of extra paint on the Husky bar, that’s it…

hello, as a quality comparison to which light bar can you compare them? Cannon, Sugihara or Tsumura
@novicelumberjack2 жыл бұрын
Well, it literally IS a Sugihara bar...so I would directly compare it to Sugihara, quality wise.

How bout a bend test? Put each bar on blocks with a weight in the middle and measure the bend.
@jacobgomez2682 Жыл бұрын
Sugi can take an extreme amount and not bend I did bend a tsumaru light when a tree rolled on it but tsu makes an incredible bar for the money!!

So which one is the best and lightest in 28 inch. Still looking for a new bar, that fits on my stihl ms441. In EU Husqvarna and Stihl dealers are still 40 years behind in selling new products.
@novicelumberjack2 жыл бұрын
Potato patoto. They are all good. Just get what looks best. If I ran Stihl, I'd get their lite weight bar. I think it looks great.

That's because in Europe we use machines that are faster than 10 chainsaw users and cost like 1.

That's weird, isn't it? That they would use two different companies...wait-3! Oregon makes their standard bars over here. So that's 3 different bar companies that I know of. Seems like they would just stick with one. Let's blame it on Covid.

It may very well be. I like Oregon stuff a lot. I've got an Oregon 24" that has seen quite a bit of use and it has minimal wear on the rails. They make seriously good stuff.

@@novicelumberjack Mine seem identical. I highly doubt they changed their specs just to sell to Husqvarna. You would also need to weigh a bunch of Sugi bars to see if they weigh the same.
