Most small saws respond really well to exhausting faster - all of them tbh in my experience lol I trained on a 345 - nice family of saws! 👌 Definitely worth spending some time with a dremel/rotary tool over just whacking a drill to it tho

Just to add, this one specifically was a bit of an experiment to see how open I could go and whether it’d still hold performance… (it does!) Start small you can always go bigger 👌

Too many holes causes lack of back pressure, No ? Back pressure is necessary to keep some of the fresh air/fuel mixture stuffed in the cylinder. Without the proper pressure, power is lost.

Yes mate, theoretically, but I’ve seen what people put on these & some just have straight shot pipes with seemingly no loss in power - in practice it’s still a ‘small-ish’ saw so getting more exhaust fumes out faster was my thinking… For £10/12 though, if i did go a bit too far I’ll just have another go - we’ll see when I’ve run it a bit more! :) Thanks for watching tho dude! go no more than 70% of the area of the exhaust port .......put the extra opening on the side of the can saw will need some back pressure to work best ......
