Husqvarna MZ6128 Hydro Belt - How I Changed the Drive Belt Myself

How to change the Hydro belt on a Husqvarna MZ6128 and believe it or not I changed it myself with only 2 tools. The drive belt on my zero turn broke while I was mowing. Bought the belt from the tractor store for $30.56 and changed it myself in the yard. It took me about 2.5 hours to figure it out. Hopefully this video will save you some time and money.
You need to remove the old belt. Remove the deck belt from the motor pulley. Remove the hydro fan gaurds. Remove the hydro idler pulley tension spring. String the belt between the tension pull and the other idler pulley. Hook the belt to the left fan pulley by going over the fan. Then remove the clutch wire clip and the clutch immobilizer bracket. Then hook the hydro belt to the rear pulley. Then hook the belt to the right hydro fan pulley by going over the fan. Check to make sure belt is properly on all pulleys. Replace the clutch wire clip and clutch immobilizer bracket. Replace fan guards and idler pulley tension spring. Double verify you have belt on all pulleys.
