Husqvarna TS 248XD 23HP Kawasaki Frame broke! 2 year review

new frame and tranny mounts!@ 26 hours.The warranty process was easy other the the 1 dealer who was closest to me refusing to take it. Wish I still had the photos of the frame.

I chuckled when you said, it was a good mower other than the whole frame twisting and bending, and the transaxle brackets which attach to the frame and support the transaxle also having been ripped apart from the tractor. . . so, other than those 'few things' you mentioned it has been a good mower eh. ;-) It almost sounded like what happened to your mower was merely a minor inconvenience. I suppose it does come down to one's personal perspective. . . , but yikes. However, I am glad that you found a dealer who honoured your warranty and repaired it all without you having to incur the cost of repair.

Yeah mostly I like the kawi engine. The rest is pretty much junk.

Looking at the mud embedded in your tires, are you sure you want to blame this on the manufacturer,?

Hahaha. That mud is because it was mud season when I picked it up from the dealer.

Kawasaki are a tank of an engine. I had an 2002' 18 hp V twin on 52" toro zturn

It's a good mower apart from the fact it's crap, I also have a Husky the deck mounts pulled out of the frame and the frame snapped in half. I had to gusset up the frame with flat bar.

Were you just mowing with it? How did it break?

600 hours on a 2754 Husquavarna the frame broke on both sides. The frame has too many holes for no reason. The frames broke where the little bracket holds the trans to the frame.

Kawasaki is a tank motor. A guzzler on fuel for sure, but I never had any problems.

Sounds to me like a mixup at the factory used the wrong temper steel during manufacturing. At least it failed quickly so it was covered.

Yup. The only other thing it has done is tow a little arator around once a year for about an hour. Mowers in for a tranny now.

the motor is the only good thing! the rest of the running gear is soft like butter. terrible engineering and cheap manufacturing. welcome to modern mowers.

Yup its in the shop for a bentt go pedal. Have no idea how it bent there sayings its unrealated to the bent frame . Lol
