Absolutely one of the best series on bbc in the last 20+ years. Fantastic actors, all 5 of them. Wish they could do a revival but of course the roadblocks would be to get everyone back & ofcourse to fill the void of the sad passing of Robert Vaughn rip.

Love this series, so much talent in one place. The third series I think was the best of the lot, it was as if the writers and all the actors just nailed it. They really seem to have fun on this job. Marc Warren who so often plays these really bad, mean, people is amazing in this and he is just so funny. In interviews he has said how he isn't into the stunts so when he as Danny says "No, I draw the line at getting off a plane before it has landed" and then the rest of that episode, it is a scream (no acting required there). I love the bit in the interview when Robert Vaughn talks about how his career went, playing the man from UNCLE and then doing the movie Bullets playing this horrible man, who "you want to slap in the face". In many ways Marc Warren's career has gone a bit like that; the absolutely nasty part he was given in The good wife, brilliantly acted, but the writers of that show didn't do him or anyone any favors, just a flaming bag of p***p. When you see the way Marc and Robert sitting next to one another, is wonderful, two generations of great actors. Listening to interviews of both Robert Vaughn and Marc Warren, they both come across as real gentleman, really decent men, who play absolute rotters, but are also so funny, maybe because they don't go into all the "celebrity" pallaver.

ahh yes, I noticed that Marc Warren had his arm around Robert Vaughn during most of the interview. Love and respect. It was obvious.

Danny Blue was easily the best character throughout the entire episodes. The guy cracked me up when he was sober. When drunk he just floored me😅🤣🤣🤣
