Un nouveau banjo est viens de sortir l'atelier de Hutchings Banjos
La cliente m'avait demandé un Hutchings Bluegrass Standard avec un manche du même profil que son vieux banjo Harmony, et avec une touche arrondie (radius) et incrustée.
Il est tout en noyer avec un tonering en Moso et fini avec du vernis nitrocellulose satiné. Le son est chaud et très réactif.
A new banjo has just left the workshop of Hutchings Banjos. It's a custom order, the client wanted one of my Bluegrass Standards with a neck shaped just like her old Harmony, but with a radiused fretboard and custom inlay.
The banjo is built from European walnut (rim included) with a Moso tonering and is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer. It sounds warm with a strong punch !
