Hutts Uncuts - Loop Hero: New Hero Class, Rogue!

Got a couple of tricks you can try: 1. Focus your equips more towards the chosen abilities, having synergies with your equips and abilities is pretty strong. 2. Spiders get overwhelming later on, using either lanterns or oblivions to keep them under controll is a good strategy. (Maybe even deleting them) 3. If you want to try and fight the litch, you can place a village with 1 or 2 wheat fields(1 is more safe) for a heal before the fight. (Maybe even: wheat -> village -> wheat -> village -> camp) 4. Beacons, even though they speed up the loop, cause you to have less health gains from day cycles per loop. More time per loop = more days per loop = more hp recovered 5. Temporal towers are, in my oppinion, very good and very easy to manage. The monsters they spawn are pretty strong in big groups, but in small groups they leave before you even notice. 6. Run blood groves, they basicaly lower enemy hp by 15%. And in combination with battle fields prevent the ghosts from spawning. The big mob looks scary, but gives amazing loot. Village before and after makes the almost harmless. 7. Try to place the treasuries as soon as you get them, even if you wont open them for a couple of loops. Makes tile plannin easier Last but not least: counts village are best created as early as possible. The zombies with the vampire are realy tough to manage later on. After the litch, they become overwhelmimg if you dont remove the vampire. Long comment, but i hope this helps a bit. ps. You dont have to have your deck filled, sometimes a more empty deck goes further Edit: the quest mob only has a 200% hp buff as far as I know, they dont increase the attack power. Some mobs with 200% (big blood grove, scarecrow, goblin boss and harpy especialy) woll become a major thread. Isolating them with lanters, or having a village before makes them a little bit less scary

This game is made by Four Quarters, the same people who made the quirky and endearing Please, Don't Touch Anything game a few years back...

I played this game right after I watch the first video of yours and have defeated the lich 2 times now so here is my tips from my experiences so far: _ Vampirism build is the one handing me the win so best is go for them in the later loops. _ Build the mountain peak first then complete the treasury, usually give you more sustain and better reward; maximize hp by placing 9 more rocks/mountains beside the mountain peak. _ I summoned the Lich at loop 6 the second time and beat him pretty easily with lv6 items, using the lightning temple to help me farm up monster. _ Since it is still first stage, the game still reward handsomely with weak mobs, if you beat the Lich, dont go to the next stage yet cause it is absolute hell so just keep farm up on the Lich level.

A small tip since you wondered about it: Chrono Crystals don't affect battlefield chest spawn rate & similar because those count per loop, not per day. Also, you should check your gear much more frequently, especially in the second round you missed quite a few promising items that could've maybe turned it around for you, e.g. regen items and items with the same loop level but different stats. Just because an item isn't as rare or high level as your current gear doesn't mean it will make your build worse, if it helps you stack a specific stat you're looking for. Especially since rares give more stats but most of the time less of each.

dont be afraid to summon and fight the lich hutts especially when you have 3-4 oblivion cards, because honestly most monster groups are more dangerous than the lich itself after loop 7+, love your vids keep it up!

Spacing out healing isn't even that good, since it doesn't heal in %. So you might overheal at the start, but later it won't even be enough.

so hutts, got some tips and tricks. It may be hard but you've got a whole bunch of buildings already, try upgrading the potion building to help. During the loops, try going heavy into magic damage and damage to all, as i found out damage to all also works on the enemy your hitting, so its a huge boost. Try to balance this damage with attack speed, i'm sure you know how that works in games. Its very needed during boss, he does too much damage for healing. If you ever see the trait that gives you a shield of like a 60% of your max HP per loop but all damage to that is true damage, GET IT and fight the boss. You get that shield before the boss, and since he does true damage anyway, its just 60% more hp. try not doing any vamp villages either, as there not worth it for chapter one since the boss spawns so fast, and maybe put a village or two right at the end of the loop to get the heal before boss. hope this helps! :D

you're doing good Hutts, I might get some tips for ya. - always get the Grove and Blood Grove on ALL chapter for the boss (put them next to your campfire), at least - the beacon add 20% attack speed to you BUT not the boss (for now), so make sure to put one near the campfire - trait (skill) for hero that take place after every loop will happen on the boss fight (like the 65% hp for warrior) which is super good - spider cocoon indeed is the best way to get card, you want them as much as you can to go through your card (chrono crystal unnecessary imo, 4 spider is just much harder than 2) - spreading enemy and village is almost always good - sometime grey equipment is just better since they give a lot of (like a ton) basic stat. - as rogue, you want easier enemies, they give the same amount of trophy - put rock/meadow/other around the treasury with a "C" pattern with the treasury in the middle first, in case you get another treasury, you save 3 tiles (keeping you from spawning the boss too fast) - put "rock" (not mountain) *ONLY* for the big (3x3) mountain and treasury (more meadow next to chrono crystal this way), make sure to put mountain adjacent to another (corner included) - I'd recommend to not put "rock" for hp, just mountain (the less card played the later the boss will be spawned for sure), just let the card burn - for chapter 1, you *really really* (like really) want to destroy all the lich palace in every way you can, it should be up there in your priority if not the first

I'm not sure if it's a good strategy, but I usually try to put villages and fields in alternating series: field - village - field - village - field and so on, so you still get all the healing buff with way less scarecrows.

It's better than what hutts was doing. Villages don't heal in %, so there's no point in spacing them out.

Little Tip: Battlefields are near useless with the Rogue, because you dont really get loot as the rogue

Evasion is crazy important for Rogue. Also, for every item you equip with an identical magic effect, the Rogue increases the bonus more. Also, the "Second Thoughts" trait just gives you a new set of 3 trait options, with (as far as I can tell) no downside.

Build by the camp always including in the road bc the lich builds his castle on the road as well next to it. High evasion is also amazing to have. Also what I do is hold off on throwing mad enemy tiles on the board so that I can get a steady amount of loot before it gets hard. Also when you end up getting the lich just throw as many rocks and meadows that you have on the board when you get close to camp bc it doesn't really matter anymore since you'll be facing 'em.

Just a heads up: Article of Protection is amazing. 65% bonus to your house that allows your actual ho to regen up under it, refills every time you finish a loop. Great for pushing late loops and killing the Lich

Game tip: you can exit the loop even if you're not at the cozy camp, you'll keep 60% of the loot, which I'd do right before entering a battle with like 10hp, since there's 0% change of beating it, unless you're the necromancer character.

Hey Hutts, i just played the demo and i learnd to allways go for most dmg. So my tipp: Try to allways take the most dmg weapon (allways look at all the weapons. You had some realy hight lvl grey weapons that would up your dmg realy hard and the rule i found is: The faster the enemys die the less dmg you take.) also count in "Dmg to all" and "magic dmg" becaus them give you flat dmg on your attacks (also an fast attack speed an hight "dmg to all" can realy up your dps). Also ceep your oblivions for the boss and only for the boss if you can. I also dont think the "lich tiles" care if you place somthing befor, i tryed to block them and he at least got 4 anyway. Last tipp: Dont go for spiders and skeletons them deal the most dmg and (at least i think) are not worth the loot. Take the woods + bloodforest thingy. I got my best loot from the fleshgolems (or what ever them are called), they are way better then anything eles. I hope this tipps help you and if it doesent work, well i just played the demo. So, sorry if its doesent. Have fun. ;)

Hutts, the main amount of damage done to you was not the enemies. IT WAS THE STORM TEMPLES. They trigger every five seconds in the encounters (Every other attack depending on attack speed.) Also attack speed and Vampirism go hand and hand cause you can deal more damage which heals for more. Yes the outright damage can kill things before they hit but long term focusing on one combo of items such as evasion and crits or Vamp and speed will help you in the longer runs. Since you tend to go more loops then you plan for. Or defense and health regen work to for long term. But you also have to keep in mind, the chrono crystals also seem to make the enemies around it faster. Also Hutts, make sure after every quest enemy to CHECK YOUR PERK TAB! Also blood grove by the camp will hurt the boss as well. Learned that from NL.

I think if you are about to lose an oblivion to just use it on one of the spawners, frankly the spiders were becoming more and more of an issue while at least the scarecrows were part of an area that did provide some healing. Also eventually just getting rid of the extra chrono crystals if they were going to increase other spawn areas, you were already getting plenty loot from the chests, champions and natural spawns like the slimes and harpies

hey hutts the boss get tougher the higher the loop. one of the strats is activating the boss as early as possible (current known earliest is loop 2) for the lich fight try to fight him no later than loop 6-8 as it will become borderline impossible (from my expirience) aim for the supply depot. it will give you many many buffs in the long term and is worth to build early on (lets you get boosts before runs i.e customize your run)

Alright hurts, I don't think you've ever taken my advice, but you gotta see this one, please upvotes this so he sees. Rogue class! Attack speed, counter, evade. You are an untouchable force of retaliation! Warrior class! Vampirism, Counter, defense! Regen is good but it's not as good as vampirism+counter. The higher your vampirism the more you heal and when you retaliate you'll gain a superfluous amount of health back. There are tons of builds, my favorite is the rogue class with attack speed evasion and counter. It is very rewarding.
