There's a Mod that gives you the option to bind a key for all of the "Double Tap" items, including Mars. It became one of my favorite items afterwards, especially since it's basically just QoL.

Interesting little factoid, Hutts: Cursed Eye doesn't teleport you if you get hit *after* it's fully charged- I believe this was a Repentence change, alongside firing 5 tears?

Another cursed eye fact black candle is amazing as it removes the teleport all together

That has always been the case with curse eye it was the chargING that caused you to teleport. If you held a full charge it wouldn't teleport you on hit. The 5 tears is new to repentance though.

What I could see to maybe improve this challenge is allowing yourself a certain number of rerolls, a Blue Baby run has normally 10 floors (Basement 1/2, Caves 1/2, Depths 1/2, Womb 1/2, Cathedreal and Chest) so maybe give yourself 3 to 5 rerolls with a once per floor limit to spice up the run more and increase the odds of getting stackable passives

Love the new challenge format Hutts! A small suggestion that could spice things up a little more - you get to reroll the item ID once after seeing what it is, if you want to, but you're forced to take whatever it rolls into at least once if able. That way you're still mostly forced to pick up mid items or ones you wouldn't normally take, and the gamble-y nature of the reroll should make for some entertaining viewing. It gives you a *little* more control over the chaos while still keeping the premise largely intact. And giving you a bit of agency and ability to strategise should make it more interesting, both to play and to watch! If it's *too* much agency, you can make it even more challenging by limiting it to one reroll per RUN instead of per floor. That way deciding to use it *really* counts!

i think a nice synergy for stacking cursed eye would be that each one after the first adds a closely orbiting fear affect tear that can force enemies to flee from you while charging

Clever idea for Isaac, maybe one I thought could work is you do an every item is floor but pick a number between 5-20 Each floor you have to add that number with the main number.

I would have skipped planetarium. Spawning them doesnt lower the chance of them showing up later, its only when you walk in the room that it gets reduced to 1% for the rest of the game. Probably wouldn't have been a big deal, but with this challenge specifically it seems good to wait for the extra item until a floor that you actually want it on

What if as a variation of this. It is every item is the first item you see on the floor. So you can strategically plan where you want to go first. If you want stats you go to the boss room hope for a good boss drop and then everything will be that same item. You get a joker card and you can turn every item into a devil/angel item. Skipping item rooms for planetariums would also be pretty viable now as you can make everything a planetarium item. Just an idea Edit: if there are 2+ items in the first room with items you could either choose which become everything or roll a number generator between the different options.

I have an idea for a challenge, maybe you could refine it in some way. But you could make a run where every floor you receive only items of a single quality, and it increases per 1 or 2 floors. So you start with quality 0 items, and on the next one or the one after it you increase the quality of items. Maybe to add some challenge to it, once you reach a quality 4 floor, every floor after it you have to randomly choose a quality for that floor

that's absolutely not how it works. you start out with a base 1% planetarium spawn chance. for every item room you skip, that chance gets augmented by 20%. the fact that he got a planetarium on the next floor was actually quite lucky.

You could try this challenge but going to Dogma instead. This way if you get a bad item when going down, you can leave it in the item room or the boss room and be able to roll it into sth else during ascent

Cursed Eye buff idea: Cursed Eye grants a damage up for as long as you have a curse currently active on the floor (Natural Curses, "???" from Pills, Cursed Skull), and a permanent damage up for each item that grants a permanent curse like effect. (Whore of Babylon, Guppy's Tail, ect.)

This would’ve been the craziest first couple of floors if it wasn’t every item is. Magic skin, ceremonial robes, coat hanger, twisted pair, crystal ball, mercurius. Would’ve been a super crazy run

I think most if not all items should have up to three levels of stacking with themselves (in case you get like double Diplopia/one Diplopia+Death Certificate) and then provide some sort of minor boost if you managed to get more than three. Double Cursed Eye should give 8 shots + teleport effect when hit even when fully charged, Triple should give 10 shots + Permanent Curse of the Maze Every stack of Purgatory should spawn that many more cracks at a time, perhaps also giving a flat damage up to the ghosts Double Fire Mind should deal fire damage for more ticks + Mega explosions, Triple with even longer burning + Giga explosions Stacks ???'s Only Friend could simply be a tick damage increase Double Mars should increase the damage multiplier + reduce the cooldown to 2sec, Triple should further increase the multiplier and further reduce the cooldown to a mere 1 second

I know you probably wont see this however i will still like to offer a suggestion for a run of this challenge in the future. give yourself gulped trinkets that give shops and treasure rooms in the womb and below so you have more chances of the items for those floors appearing making things more chaotic.

You should do this challenge but instead of it being any item it has to be from a specific dlc. A few videos being Repetence items, a few being Afterbirth, etc. You should also reroll active items if you draw more than one, its ruins the challenge if you’re just pulling active items
