Can't believe I just sat here and watched a 2 hour video start to finish. I don't even own a sailboat lol. Hopefully, I can one day sail back to Grenada and enjoy living in a sailboat full time. Cheers.

Very interesting vlog, it is like a combination "How to Sail" and Travelogue video. Lots of interesting weather info for those who are not even intending to go sailing and helpful info on how to get supplies and parts for your boat. Lots and lots of time went into the preparation of this video. Thanks for sharing.

I've just watched most all of your videos. I have seen you grow as a sailor and human being. I have loved it all, all of your videos.. & even though I do not know you, after having seen a lot of your journey, I am so proud of you. I root for you. I hope your life just keeps getting better and better. I ended up finding your YT channel looking into living aboard and eventually 🤞🏼 cruising (so, as a very interested potential future cruiser who will surely be starting right where you did..boat size and experience wise) I would really reeeeaaally like to know as a person (me) with very little $ (& without being offensive 🤞🏼!) how you can afford this, and perhaps how you/other cruisers are making any $ along the way and how you have seen other cruisers have enough money to stay cruising indefinitely. I am not a rich person and would be very grateful to know that aspect of it all. How much $ did you start out with on day one? How did you plan to calculate that? What did you set/make as a budget and for how long? ..and what about when/if you ran out of $ ...and so on and so on? Sorry for so many questions.. & Thank you kindly in advance 😊 ..from -A Canadian (Toronto) girl with the same kind of dream

Also, I would be sailing from Toronto Canada - Bahamas...Big first trip… and back for Toronto summers.. unless I found a way to stay down south during the harsher seasons. I'm all in research mode right now. :)

I make money as a KZbinr. When I bought the boat I only had enough money to buy the boat but at the time was making a couple thousand per month due to my building video. After a while that went away. I know people who live on a 35ft boat on a 500 usd per month budget. But they go very slow. I have to spend quite some yearly budget on electronics (computer, cameras etc) to make videos. But if you take that out of it, and do everything else cheap, I would say 1.000 per month keeps you doing things on a very tight budget. 1.500 per month gets you a better lifestyle. Unlike what some others say, boating is just not cheap... especially if you like to move and see many places in a short time.... hope it helps. Cheers, Huub

That helps a great deal. Thank you. When I have enough to buy mine (maybe in 1+1/2 year ish. I'm half way there) I will have around the same budget as you did. Maybe just a little more ..plus.. I'd like to save just a little more to upgrade it where it's most important/& some comforts. However, I know I will live one year aboard through a Canadian winter while doing the work. Not looking forward to that part. Like you, I want to start my adventure asap also.. but! I will learn from others such as yourself and leave when confident. I am considering YT-ing as well..and I will keep watching for tips from you. You have helped me very much. Maybe one day I'll sea ya! ..Again, thx. Keep on keep'n on, sail strong Huub! @@HuubVlogs

Mach weiterso meen Jung. Beste Grüße aus Schleswig Holstein.
