Install is trickier than Wall Control brand. I know the Omni peg board system is supposed to be more versatile, but I don’t think it’s worth the additional installation aggravation. AND this install was into 3/4” plywood and not studs, which would add a whole new dimension of difficulty on top of all the rails and clips that go into this system. Wall Control is sooo much easier to install and seriously, the slight difference in security of mounted accessories and directionality isn’t significant enough to justify the complexity. This is like the difference between Japanese and German engineering and the reason why Toyota and Lexus will always be more reliable and less expensive than a Mercedes or BMW.

I dig the red, but to me a big part of the fun of arranging my tools is making my own hangers and brackets. Still this looks very nice. Love the beefy 3/4" plywood walls. And I thinkI heard that you have 6X6 in there somewhere. Nice.

@@oxintheshop Did you build the shop, or have a build video on it? I would like to see that.

those are some expensive pannel =/ think a cheaper alternative is a brand called all control. the pins are nice, but I don't think its worth all that extra money u would spend =/
@oxintheshop3 жыл бұрын
I have seen wall control and I don’t like it. Comes apart and hooks do not stay on when taking off tools and for that reason is why I wouldn’t use them. I don’t want to know to take a tool off and then put the hanger back with it that is just an extra step to slow you down
@FurryMetalFerretVT3 жыл бұрын
@@oxintheshop wall control hooks have little metal tabs u bend so they come closer to the surface of the board so the pegs don't come out, think u can also used standard pegboard locks as well. which is why I much prefer their system. don't need to spend $20 bucks on a special peg to hold some $5 tool u almost never use. so u can just use ur stand plain jane pegboard peg that u can get 100 of them for $10
