Excellent install! Great video. I know the VS Units are complex and can be expensive if inverter or ECMs goes out...but once you own a VS, its hard to go back to single stage. Cannot beat the sound and comfort. Nice work again.

Allied - LYNX you have is a good choice at a low price. The 16 SEER Heat Pump is a excellent second choice that I wanted for my home in FL, but they seem to be hiding inventory other than the newer Blueridge SEER 1, SEER 2 line. Their AHRI matchups nave some of the BEST numbers in the Biz!

Nice job love that you put the air handler in the house and not in the crawl space

That zone 1 temp sensor showing NOT INSTALLED was making my ocd for perfection go crazy. You had zone 1 and zone 2 temp controllers installed but no sensor for the 1st, I was like, huh? why not.

Sweet setup. Do you know if that unit cuts the indoor blower off during a defrost cycle or slows it down so you aren't hitting the house with cold air during defrost since the heat strips are locked out until 20 degrees? Wondering how that one does it, since it is communicating. If you have time shoot me a response. If not, no worries bud. Unit is very quiet. One day I want to put an inverter at my house and ditch my gas. The only gas I currently have hooked up is my 29 year old furnace. Lol. Cost me like $25 in fees per month even when I am not using it. Thanks for the video. Stay safe out there.

Great video. One question. How did you set airflow/zone?
@morehp1Ай бұрын
So is that a two stage compressor I guess? Could u do a video explaining the benefits of zoning on a home that size?

Did you consider one of those cold weather heat pumps? I need to replace my 2 units also..

Looks just like a Lennox. Is that what they called it back in the day?
@rj.parkerАй бұрын
Armstrong is a Lennox company like Bryant is a Carrier company.

I would have run low voltage wire with more conductors in it. Personally I use 8 wire for heat pumps. Just in case for the next guy. That’s just me.

Yea that system is old school should of got Mr cool at least won't blow cold air when it's below 32 and ya don't need heat strips been tested to minus 39 .and fan speed is controlled by thermostat and its only 2 mire for heat and air outdoor temp sensors dehumidifier connect humidity sensors you name it bring that stuff back and yes forced hot air I just did one fkn amazing especially old house with shit duct work
